As we were self driving around the North of Thailand this Hotel has easy access to parking and its location closer to the mountain roads made it an attractive choice. Our serviced apartment was spacious and very comfortable to come home to after a day out exploring the Chiang Mai surroundings with a really nice pool to relax in. The Opium is situated in a local area with plenty of eateries, restaurants, markets, laundry services, everything we would ever need to be honest, and a 7 eleven nearby for sim cards with cool environment to shop in. The staff at the Opium are friendly and very helpful when needed. Overall we had a comfortable stay at the Opium which was home to us for three weeks.

Great locations! Amazing room and a great price! Beds were comfortable! The staff were so friendly and very helpful! They have a place to book tours downstairs and they were so helpful! Great location for Sunday night markets just down the road! Across the road is a Thai cooking school which is so convenient!

The gym was okay and just enough equipped to use during a vacation. The garden of the hotel was green and nice as well as the pool and its area.
