We have had everything that we needed for our one night stay. Everything was there: a functioning heating unit, well functioning gas stove and oven, good beds/couches (don't expect state of the art mattresses for this kind of money please). They had oven trays, an old school coffee pot (BEST COFFEE!!) , cooking pots, shot glasses, spices etc. If I were to visit Azuga with a small group of friends I would definitely choose this place again. The location is close to local supermarkets which do not have tequila, but do sell vodka and rum.

Such an amazing location.
The apartment is super clean and warm, you’ll find all you need in its kitchenette. The bed is comfortable and spacious enough and the bathroom looks like brand new.
If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place since the building is located near the woods and has a really nice view towards the Sorica slope.
I was here with my son and he was really enchanted by the fireplace light, easily falling asleep while admiring it.
Even if I did not have the pleasure of meeting face to face with the host, we easily communicated by phone and she seemed like a really nice and communicative person.
We will return here for sure!

Good to visit during ski season. Little to do outside of it.
Good to visit during ski season. Little to do outside of it. Not to mention the access from Bucharest and even Brasov. Awful traffic all thorough the year. Many hours spent is a standstill queue. Other much better alternatives available.

Azuga is a very quiet resort that is currently in a touristic restoration/rebirth period.
At the moment Azuga is not that known and it a lot less busy than Busteni/Predeal/Sinaia.
But this tourist city offers a lot of sports-related attractions, cycling (both XC and downhill), hiking, walking outside, ATVs, Motorcycles, skiing in the winter, and others.
The trails are not as known as the others but they offer stunning views of the neighboring mountains with easy hikes.

It looked like an abandoned city, unfortunately.

You can go to Sorica and take the Gondola that takes you to the mountain plateau. Very beautiful views from there and you can see Bucegi mountains or hike at Baiului Mountains.
We loved the food at Casa Azugeana.

If you like the place for yourselves, than Azuga is the place to be. It was almost nobody on the streets and the place looked deserted. I could find parking spaces wherever I wanted.
It is a good destination if you want peace and quiet. In the summer you will mostly only find the locals there.

Azuga is the maybe the most rewarding winter resort for alpine skiing in Romania at the moment - mostly because of the two ski slopes (both red) that are groomed to perfection and easy to access. There is rarely standing in line at the gondola lift, as opposed to other ski resorts in Prahova Valley. In the summer there are several other outdoor sports to be enjoyed - downhill and mountain biking, hiking etc. Other opportunities for relaxing and spending time are, unfortunately, limited. The small resort is suffering from lack of investment. All the small local industry is gone, jobs for the locals are scarce even in the hospitality industry and young people are forced to move to the bigger cities in Prahova or Brasov.

was very happy to discover this hotel quite far from the DN1 rush, in a very quiet area, right next to a the cabletrain (telegondola). Our room had an amazing mountain view (it seems that all rooms have nice views as they are not obstructed by other buildings). Also, the room was very large and spacious.
I recently stayed at a place that was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice bathroom. The location was perfect, as it was close to the main road. The owner was very nice and hospitable, and even treated me to whisky and barbeque on the first day of my stay. I asked for a fridge in the room, and the owner was kind enough to provide one. Overall, it was a very nice place and offered great value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The location was perfect. It was snowing every day, making the location like being from a fairytale. The kids were playing in the courtyard and didn't even want to go the slopes because there was a lot of snow everywhere.
Very close to the slopes, just a few minutes away with the car.
Very good food at the restaurant. Watch out, big portions! 😁
Worm and clean rooms, (very) hot water 24/7. Comfy bed.
Oh, and friendly staff, from reception to restaurant and housekeeping.👏
The food available in the in-house restaurant is very good, I also liked the breakfast (coffee included). The views from the hotel are nice all around. The hotel is very clean. There are things to do nearby (azuga telecabine) so that is a big plus. The garden has some benches in the sun and I enjoyed sitting there.
place as described, extra clean, neighbors quiet, great communication with the host, a decent restaurant across the street, couple of shops 5min walk distance... nothing missing essentially; for an apartment rented from a private host, this is a wonderful experience that deserves repetition.
- the location near the ski slope
- dog friendly : we could bring our dog in the vacation without any charges.
- we have luck because in that periode the vila had no reservation instead of our room so we were alone in it.
- the staff was friendly and nice
Amazing! 5 star hotels' cleaning. All one can need, from glasses to hot plate , kettle and cofee machine, tea&cofee included. Quality bedding. TV and fireplace working great. Table and benches for outdoors eating.
Very friendly host! We will go back.
I liked the apartment , it has all you need for a good leisure staying, the bed and the extensive sofa are very cozy. the kitchen has coffee machine, toaster, kettle . I recommend it, we will come back here next time we visit Azuga.
Everything! Pool was clean and not too crowded, jacuzzi great, the bar and restaurant looked great and the breakfast was lovely! We really loved the room and the view. We will be back for sure.
Hotel is in front of the cable car that goes to the mountain. Private parking on site. Room was spacious and comfy with a great view and with a balcony. Also a games room free of charge.
The host was very kind and helpful. The studio is perfectly equipped and the location is well placed. Close to the Telegondola Sorica and groceries.
The bad was more than confortable.
Clean, new refurbished apartment, well positioned near the park, stores and Azuga ski domain.
Kitchen well equipped, own heating system. Overall great value for the money.
