We went on our first family holiday with our 8 month old baby and stayed at Dom Pedro. The location was brilliant, so close to the beach and the marina, with some lovely little restaurants just outside of the hotel.
The breakfast was lovely with plenty of options. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They made such a fuss of our little one, and they helped my partner plan my birthday. They even suprised me with champagne and cake for my birthday.
Our room was lovely, very clean and spacious although a little dated.
We had plenty of room with the travel cot that was supplied by the hotel. The only downside was that there was no kettle, and only a coffee machine for hot water.
If we had known this before we would have taken a travel kettle as there was no kettle on request due to guests burning themselves, and trying to get the hotel in trouble? When travelling with a young baby, a kettle is a must! We had to get the restaurant to boil water for us for the babies bottle, as the coffee machines hot water strangely enough, had a coffee taste 🤣🤣
Apart from this, we wouldn't falt the hotel. Would recommend to anyone!
