This hotel is well situated for visits in to the town and local shops. There are plenty of good restaurants close by the hotel. Mainly Portuguese is spoken everywhere, but we managed to get by with a mixture of Spanish, French and English. We hiked around the PR1 circuit which is approximately 11kms. This starts and finishes in Mogaduro. Maps of the walk can be obtained from the Tourist Office. Mogaduro is a lovely well kept town situated at around 700 metres.

This guest house is located in the village of Tó, a 15-minute drive from Mogadouro.

Manuela was very nice and took all of our preferences into account. The house was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. Great place for the money.

Very spacious room and confortable. The house is cosy and warm in the cold weather. Liked also thay the owner has some bikes that the guests can use for free to ride.

The room was spacious, modern, recently renovated and had everything you could ask for (except a bidet) Easy access from the national road and nice for hikes in the area. Quiet. Breakfast with home made jams, toasts, chese and ham. Very attractive pricing.

Offering free WiFi and a seasonal outdoor pool, Casa de l Cura is set in Genízio. There is a games room on site and guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Bragança is 43 km away.

The location of the property has stunning wide ranging views of the surrounding countryside. The property is approximately a mile outside the town which wasn’t an issue for us. The hosts were most welcoming and friendly making us feel completely at home. We were lucky and our room had a balcony to relax on. This room had the best shower that I can remember having and we travel a lot. Final our hosts recommended an amazing authentic restaurant in town it’s a must loverly people.

Set within the International Douro Natural Park, this property has green and natural areas surrounding it.

What a nice experience! Such a beautiful place in a beautiful town and area. And the owner is fantastic! So helpful! We came very late (22:30) and very hungry. The owner took us in his car to a local restaurant and organised food and nice local vine for us. Hopefully we will have another chance to visit that place!
