Excellent location with beautiful views. A 15 minute easy walk into town. A one minute walk down to cafes, restaurants and small shops by the wharf. Had everything for our weekend stay. Nice breakfast options. The spa was a bonus.
A lovely little town with surf hiring gear & clothing shops.
A lovely little town with surf hiring gear & clothing shops. There are nice boutiques & a couple of galleries selling locally made work.
There’s a good selection of restaurants & coffee shops plus two shops for groceries if you’re self catering.
The beaches are easy to reach & very spacious & well known for surfing 🏄🏻♀️
All the local people we met were friendly, interesting & kind.

I want to start by saying I got COVID there.
I want to start by saying I got COVID there. I’m sure I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I hadn’t. Had to stay extra time.
The place is lovely, the people are overall really polite, and some people are still against masks and will make completely unnecessary, unrequested, unwanted commentary about it.
Really good food. Really gorgeous beaches. Perfect place to just walk around and discover things.
Got on Raglan Sunset Cruise (the Wahinemoe) and it was awesome. Informative, gorgeous, and offered the option of Raglan Fish which I’m told has declined in quality, but seemed edible enough.
It was a good place to rest. Raglan Roast is delicious. The Stoned Cow has a really nice Banana Bread. Orca bar & restaurant gave me the best meal of my life.
I was pleased with it.

We stayed central and was able to enjoy all the great coffee (Raglan Roast, Indy) and food. Raglan Roads and Indy offered fantastic coffee and service. For food we visited the Raglan Bakery for breakfast and lunch and it is the best bakery I've come across on my travels in New Zealand - highly recommended with well priced food. WE also had lunch at Indy and the The Mexican Place. ULO's Kitchen was our go for dinner place -great food and atmosphere - we were there two nights in a roll.
There was yoga at the Space - very enjoyable.
We went kayaking with Raglan Kayak and Paddleboarding - that was the highlight of our trip. The weather was not great but they put as at ease and accommodated our request. We had winds and some rain which just added to the great adventure.

We only spent one Saturday morning in Raglan but we loved what we saw. We had a delicious breakfast at "The shack" a cafe recommended by staff at our motel. Everywhere eating establishment we saw looked inviting. After breakfast we ventured around the shops. There are lots of interesting art and craft shops to explore. Sadly we only saw glimpses of the beach as we were on a tight schedule. We are now planning a much longer stay.

Raglan is a lovely little town, the Sunset Motel is within walking distance of the town centre with a number of Cafes and restaurants. There is also a small supermarket next door with a good range of grocery items.
Unfortunately it was cold and wet when we there so we didn't get to experience any water activities.
Really recommend it as a holiday destination for a few days.
Warm and friendly reception from the owner, on our arrival. My grandchildren were so excited and straight away felt at home. Vibe of the place was cosy, relaxing and comfortable. Very private and quiet. Location perfect for all activities. Walking distance to shops. Will definitely be staying there again. Would recommend it anytime to anyone wanting to experience Raglan nothing at all
Beautiful views and quiet location. Delicious fresh baked muffins every morning along with breakfast foods, juice and local Raglan products with information about them which was a nice touch. The host was very helpful and available when needed and the apartment was very comfortable and homely.
We really enjoyed our stay at Raglan West Accomodation. We found the room comfortable, clean and to our taste. Really enjoyed the food at the attached cafe. Raglan is an interesting little town, well worth a visit. A good place to stop on our trip from Wellington to Auckland.
it is the old hotel in the centre of Raglan so is surrounded by shops and restaurants. Had old world charm and was nicely decorated for the period. There is a a guest lounge which leads onto the second storey verandah which was a nice place to watch the world go by.
This was a very comfortable studio apartment within walking distance of the town of Raglan. It was a perfect first stop on our roadtrip around the north island. It was extremely clean. There are blackout curtains. We slept well and recommend Long Street Studio.
Raglan Backpackers is a really chilled place and all people are really nice. The size of the room was good and the hottub is the best :) I liked the kitchen also and the eating room with a library and a chimney.
Great location, short walk to the shops. Very cosy beachy atmosphere in the hotel room and a nice courtyard view. Good communication via text, they left the key in the room for us which was handy on arrival.
Great location. Cute, private space under the main house. We didn’t see the owners but could call on them at anytime, which is nice and feels mutually respectful.
Lovely breakfast included.
Wall art made in Raglan original signed piece
Nice view of ocean
Host knowledgeable about eateries and places worthwhile visiting
Beautiful maintained gardens and home
Quiet street
Rural, quiet but still close to Raglan town centre. Modern house, very good rural outlook. We were watching the sunset from the accommodation. The Espresso machine was a bonus.
