Lovely, warm, cute little cottage. Really well stocked place, everything you needed, and a lovely breakfast provided. Picturesque grounds with hens roaming around. Hosts are lovely people, very accommodating and helpful, more than happy to give us a few extra eggs etc. We were a group of 5 friends and suited us fine.

one of the best villages in the world. Shops, Cafes and restaurants are divine. Close to other villages - Masterton, Carterton and Martinborough - so lovely all of them. Our hosts recommended Apertivo - spectacular. Also they recomended Roadrunner - incredible new Vineyard Restaurant! Clareville has an amazing cafe also - not far from Greytown...

We visited Greytown for a garden ramble which we enjoyed. The town tends towards high end customers and is perhaps expensive for many. The heritage features make it appealing as a visitor choice and it’s central locality suits it to being a hub for your visit.

Easy walking around the town.
Easy walking around the town. Very pretty small country town. Lovely shops and eateries. Very friendly people. We were made to feel very welcome wherever we went. Handy to many short beach locations ie:
Castle Point lighthouse, Lake Ferry, Cape Palliser, Martinborough and surrounding districts for wine gin and olive tastings.
Great supermarket in Greytown.

I had been staying at Castlepoint but needed more time in the area to explore the shopping in Featherston and Greytown. There is so much to do and see that I would have liked to be there longer. I was impressed with the helpfulness of the staff in the two towns who pointed me in the direction of the places I wanted to visit. Great dining and shopping in Greytown and Featherston and plenty of day walks nearby.
It was nice staying in a historic hotel. We had a great meal in the bar (the restaurant was closed that day). It was a typical NZ pub with a pool table and friendly locals and staff. We didn't mind 4 rooms sharing the 2 large bathrooms. We stayed during the week, so there was no band noise. Greytown is an interesting popular town, with a new cycle trail, and it's hard to get accommodation. Overall we were happy with our stay, but I would look further afield next time.
Fabulous location and property. Clean and had all the comforts of home . Bathroom beautiful and very comfortable bed. Loved the extra touch of breakfast which was yummy . The whole package felt like country living with the arrival of the cows outside . Hannah greeted us on arrival and was great . Will definitely stay there when we return to greytown . Would highly recommend this for anyone wanting a weekend getaway .
Such wonderful accommodation! My mum, sister and I visited Greytown for two nights and loved the accommodation. We all loved our beds and bedding and had the most relaxing sleep. It was a true escape away and the accommodation gave us an amazing holiday feeling.
All the facilities were great from the cosy bedrooms, plush sofa, clean bathrooms and spacious living and kitchen.
This was our 3rd stay with Greytown campground, but first time not in a tent. The Shepherds Hut was super cozy and cute, the kids loved it. Bench beds are a tiny bit narrow, but fine. The cabin was perfectly located close to the amenities. The campground itself is perfect for walks to Main Street, the local lido, and the grocery store. We’ll definitely be back!
The Loft was beautifully presented and immaculately clean. Only a 10 minute walk to the main street in Greytown but nice and quiet off the main road. Hosts Cherry and Paul were very friendly and happy to help out but also respected our privacy. We really enjoyed our weekend staying here.
Terrific stay in a really cosy, tidy and well furnished property which is very close to the town center. Plenty of space for four people. Zoe was welcoming and handover of the key was easy. Would totally recommend for a short stay in Greytown.
We liked the historical touch of the building and its garden set up.
We also loved the common facilities to all guests and the very familiar atmosphere of welcome and being taken care of.
We warmly recommend this place for a stay in Greytown.
The Annex was cozy and clean and had all the amenities you would need and a couple I didn’t even think of. The property was beautiful, quiet and 2 minutes from Greytown which made finding things so easy.
Amazing Staff with excellent service, Rooms were very clean and tidy. The location of the lodge is perfect if you are visiting Greytown for Christmas festival.
Handy location to the main shops in Greytown and an easy drive to Martinborough for the wineries. It was a beautiful space to relax and unwind for a few days.
Perfect location, right in the heart of Greytown. Elegant decor and very clean. Friendly and welcoming host. The wine, cheese, and honey were a lovely touch.
