We booked a family room and a double room for 2 nights at Kaani Grand Seaview, but we were pleasantly upgraded to Kaani Palm Beach, which we found quite good. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a nice sea view. This is the perfect location to stay in Maafushi. They also offer many tour packages and ferry services.
Facing the beachfront, Triton Prestige Seaview and Spa offers 4-star accommodation in Maafushi and features a fitness centre, garden and shared lounge.

I really liked the atmosphere on Maafushi, very chilled, I wasn't constantly harassed by people trying to get me to eat in their restaurants. I found the island very quiet and peaceful but I was there out of season and I suspect it can get much busier.

The trips on offer are spectacular.
The trips on offer are spectacular. I would advise you understand the type of boat you are going on and check the weather. Salt Beach do fabulous trips and the guys on the boats are great.
We did have a trip with 'Maldivian Fellows' I was very disappointed with this one as they didn't have watchers looking at the people in the water and showed no encouragement to people that were a little nervous like 'Salt Beach' guys
We did the parasailing which was fabulous. We booked this with the guys next to the bikini beach and they were great.
Ive been to the island 5 times now and love its rustic charm although it is getting busier.
I can highly recommend the 'Juice Vibe' for the best coffee and juices. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, my favourites are 'Moonlight' which is situated at the opposite end to bikini beach and the Indian restaurant next to the Kanni hotel. Some of the washroom facilities are not so clean so always carry tissues with you.

People of Maafushi treat you based on the following: if you are white-skinned and living in a resort, you get the best treatments. After that, white-skinned, then brown-skinned in the resort, and the rest are treated like they don't belong in their precious land. Their definition of hospitality means you are meant to agree and not counter when they suggest something. If you have a different opinion, you are rude and disrespectful. The nature is unparalleled, but the locals have a long way to go to learn hospitality.

It is a very beautiful small island with very warm and hospitable people. With azure water and golden beaches. Prices are very affordable, there are several good restaurants.
It was impossible to swim because there are many reefs in the water inside and we caught our feet many times, which is why we could not go into deep water, and near the shore there is waist-deep water. No one has informed us about this. The hotel must inform the guests about such details in advance.
It would be good if there would be a bridge for those who want to swim in deep water, which would give them the opportunity to go directly into deep water.

Public island - so no alcohol/ all inclusive plush.
Public island - so no alcohol/ all inclusive plush. The island is small, had good snorkeling, small shops, restaurants and bikini beach! Everyone is friendly and want to make sure you have a good time. Many options to rent water crafts, fun water sport items. Many excursions that give you exactly as they are advertise. A short trip by boat from Male makes it convienent - not have to spend all day getting to your hotel.
I loved their customer service. The location is also good, next to bank of maldives. The rooms are decent and worth the price. They were clean and nice. No issues were faced. The staff named "Arif" helped us a lot in booking excursions and getting the money exchanged. Anyone visiting this hotel should definitely contact him. Super friendly and shows a lot of concern. He goes the extra mile by cooking the breakfast at your given time as well. Hats off to the property for hiring nice staff.
Small clean and very cozy hotel with amazing garden in front of it. We loved it that hotel located in silent part of the island.
Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Everything was very clean.
All staffs were very friendly and helpful to us. They advise us about activities on the island and recommended best excursion center Maldives Fellas ( such a great experiance )
Breakfast as well were very delicous.
Definetely would recommend this place and hope to come back soon.
Everything was exceptional, stayed here for 5 Days. This is one of the beautiful stay of mine so far in any hotel.Staff is very helpful in all your matters, food was very good the best place to get the Indian food with good taste in Maafusi.Breakfast is wonderful with buffet style plenty options for veg and non veg both.Hotel also arrange candle light dinner, water sports and trips along the Island. They also provide Bi cycle to you for roaming around the Island.
Beach view from the balcony is spectacular. Arena is the best hotel in Maafushi and I don’t see an alternative for it. Most of the members at reception are helpful all the time. Food at Arena Restaurant during my entire stay is fabulous and try to add Indian dishes to your buffet spread .Restaurant staff are so responsive and best at their service. Housekeeping service especially from Yogesh he has shown his dedication to maintain the room tidy and clean.
We spent 13 nights at Rehendi and really enjoyed our stay. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the two young men who worked at the breakfast serving who always made sure we were well looked after. The pool is great and very refreshing after a hot day at the beach. The room was large and had everything we needed. Having seen some of the other hotels in Maafushi I would say this is a very good option for the price!
Kaani is a chain of hotels in Maafushi, Perfect location one step away from the beach. Housekeeping is good daily cleaning and changing of towels and bedding. Separate towels for beach and chairs available at the beach for Kaani guests. Most of the hotel staff are good, special thanks to Mr.Tiger for his service. Bit disappointed with breakfast everyday almost same stuff. Overall not bad .....I will recommend this property .
If your looking to go to the Maldives and not to stay at one resort that's really expensive I'd recommend here in Maafushi as there is a good variety of things you can do here from resort day trips to excursions. The hotel itself is in a great location if you pick a sea room view. We only had breakfast in the mornings here did the job for us. But I'd recommend not eating dinner here and try what the island has to offer!
Hotel staff Was really great and very accommodating.
We had a very pleasant stay, and specially enjoyed the meals. Most of the excursions were arranged by the hotel so we did not have to worry much, especially the guides Ibarahim and Sadiq were really knowledgeable and friendly .
I would recommend this hotel to any one who is planning to visit Maafushi.
The staff are super helpful all the time. They helped us with the transfer to and from the airport, arrange snorkeling tour and always available whenever needed.
The best budget hotel in maafushi village.
Supermarket, Bakery, Bank, mosque and beach everything is nearby to the property.
Highly recommended for solo, young couples and for families.
Staff were amazing and kind, always available to help and keen on helping you have an amazing time on the island.
Shout out to shozol who ensured I had a great stay not only at the hotel but also on the island. He recommended me tours to do and took me to the best tour agencies on the island.
I enjoyed the breakfast as well
The guest house was good
The room clean and cozy
There is a small balcony with somewhat obstructed but decent view
The owner was very kind and friendly
Available when needed , he picked me up from Maafushi port
The location is good and since the island is small everything is within a 10 minute walk
The staffs. This was our last day in the hotel and we moved from one room to another (due to wrong booking from my end lol). MJ (Magic) who was very helpful since Day 1 helped ensure a smooth transfer for us. We really appreciate his support all throughout our stay. The location was the best!
Hotel Manager and staff were really professional in their duties, responsive and helpful. They responded promptly to our needs and made sure our stay and experience at Maafushi was wonderful. They were very helpful in providing detailed information about the island and it activities.
Staffs specifically Samy was so nice and exceptional. Breakfast was so full and tasty.

I spent there excellent week and can honestly recommend Arora View to anyone!
Nice breakfast was made earlier because of my early morning departure. Room was very clean. Staff was very kind. They met us at port when we arrived. We where really satisfied about our hotel choice in Maafushi.
We loved everything about our stay here. Beautiful views of the harbor and sunset. Clean and comfortable room. The staff were friendly, helpful and willing to please. A budget hotel that is worth the money.
Location - close to everything, nice and helofull staff, hotel reataurant with resonable prices which includes all charges what is rare on this island, TV with cable channals what is actually rare too.
The treatment was amazing especially when it comes from the hotel manager. We were really surprised with the prices that were totally fair and the treatment. The romantic dinner is amazing!!!!!
