This apartment was excellent overall. The room was huge and it was really clean. The room had a fridge and a lot of kitchen equipments. There was a very big balcony with a stunning view. We went around the Kotor bay completely and this place had the best view. The owner was very helpfull too and there was free parking.
The photos of the room on booking are a bit misleading. The wall colors seem not so good in the photos but actually everything was great about the room. The equipments and the furniture were all high quality. We would definitely stay here again.

I've never experienced such hospitality from some one. Our hosts are two most amazing people we ever met. House is typical old style, with beautiful garden and swiming pool. They are pet friendly, as well they have 3 dog few cats, parot and fishes.

We enjoyed our stay at one of Ivan’s apartments!
It was clean, comfortable, with a direct pool access and a beach just a few steps away!
Ivan was a great host, awesome captain to take us on a boat ride through the Boka Bay and an amaaaaazing cook preparing for us some super delicious and fresh grilled fish, shrimp and mussels that he farms himself 🤩
Truly an amazing experience, would definitely recommend it and for sure will ve back!!

Nice small place, great with family with children. Small beaches, nice and quiet. City center is small but has a nice park and you can find great cafe with excellent cakes. Risan is a small town though located close to Kotor and it only takes half an hour on a car from/to Tivat and pretty same distance to Herceg Novi. The tourist growth hasn't influenced Risan as much as the other places in Montenegro coastline. This makes it very attractive unless you fancy crowded beaches and noisy big city vibe. Risan is like a boutique hotel as opposed to resort chains, it's small with a personal note and sense of intimacy and privacy, unique character and heritage. It took us about an hour walk by seaside to get to Perast. There are also buses going there as well as to Kotor every hour if you want to leave car home or take a bus or boat tour. Beaches are pebble same as everywhere in Montenegro. There are not many hotels at all but nice apartments. We stayed at lovely Mint&Rose apartment and would not swap this accommodation for any hotel experience. Restaurant Risan was our favorite place to dine. Delicious fresh seafood much recommended Clean sea water, nice food, farmers markets each Sunday, friendly people and service We have lots of happy memories

Risan is a nice small village, perfect if you are looking to spend a peaceful holiday. It’s a good location to explore the other villages in the Kotor bay. If you are looking for action then you better spend your time in Kotor or Herceg Novi. In these towns you can also book excursions because the travel agency Amfora In Risan is not very useful, they couldn’t help us with anything.MelissaBelgium - 8.0Scored 8.0
Risan is a nice, cozy and tranquill town in a farther corner...
Risan is a nice, cozy and tranquill town in a farther corner of the Kotor-Risan bay, laying at the foot of Orjen mountain and ornamented with a few attractions of relative importance, for instance, an ancient villa with some curious mosaics of the Roman period (2nd century AD), newer excavation sites between the hotel Teuta and the Risan school (I have searched for it on the Internet, but was unable to figure out what time these ruins belonged to), a nice Orthodox church, and a picturesque Banja monastery (built in the 17th century) located approximately 1 km from the town. Risan's beaches are quite small and do not seem to be well-cared-for (e.g. there is a plenty of weed on the seabed on some of them), though my overall impression of them is quite good. The sea life is much more poor than that in Ponta Seljanovo, Tivat, where we used to stay in the past years: for example, in Risan we have found nearly no remarkable seashells (but no sea-urchins as well, which is rather good). As to the climate, it seemed to us much milder, than in Tivat (not that stifling hot). We also liked a free open air concert of a local orchestra organized on July, 12 (Peter and Paul day in the Orthodox tradition, a big fest for the locals). It was really nice and touching to sit in the evening square and listen to the sounds of their relaxing music. The inhabitants are friendly, the restaraunts (among which we would like to single out Mali Hipnos, which has a Facebook food delivery service) woffer a good range of meat meals for a reasonable price, and Amfora, the local tourist agency, provides the tourists with fairly nice excursions.

Restaurants, local shops, the local market and the Fashion Beach in the vicinity which makes the perfect location and choice for a family in my opinion. Parking also free in Risan which was good for us. As we had a rent a car with us we drove to Kotor, Budva, Perast, Herceg Novi and Tivat which was just around 30-35mins drive from Risan.

The beach is nearby and is very nice. You can also drink coffee and buy products in the nearest cafes and markets. Recommend visiting Portonovi, Herceg Novi, Kotor old town (take the boat tour to the blue cave). Svetlana is a very pleasant host, helped us with everything we needed. The room for the three of us was nice, not so spacious, but well equipped.

Certainly the best breakfast we've seen in 8 weeks in Europe so far. It was just a pity it was so difficult to get parking anywhere nearby the hotel. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and was serviced every day. On arrival, we collected the key from hotel Conte and were then given an escort back to the apartment to help us find it and settle in.
