The location was good.
Staff were friendly and very helpful with trying to book bus tickets online. Even they couldn't get it to work, as the online system does not take foreign credit cards. Had to go to the bus stop to buy tickets.
Walking distance to Hanok village, mural town, top of the mountain where Buddha sits and other attractions. Nice Chinese restaurant next door. Bus stop down the road if required.
Towels were changed daily, and they were BIG bath towels. 🤗

The hotel has great service and accommodated our late arrival after midnight. The rooms were clean and the staff members were very courteous. We booked rooms that included breakfast and after selecting our options the night before, they delivered the food to our room at the decided time.

Jeonju has a nice preserved hanok hood, however, it is clearly gentrifying quickly and prepared for massive tourism. The rest of the city has little interest. One afternoon to walk in the hanoks and dine should be enough.

Really neat experience to get an idea about traditional...
Really neat experience to get an idea about traditional Korean architecture and clothes. Obviously, the town has modernized to have coffee shops, etc., but the buildings in the city center have been maintained in a traditional style, and the popularity of renting the traditional Korean clothing lends a unique atmosphere.
We visited the Shrine, highly recommended. Nothing exotic, but good information about that time in Korean history and some of the events that made Jeonju what it is.
Some really great restaurants, look up best places to eat in Jeonju, we tried 3 out of the top 10 and were super pleased with all 3.
The traditional Hanok was a unique place to stay that was an inexpensive way to experience a little of what traditional homes were like. Obviously converted to hotel-type rooms, but the idea was there and it was a fun way to spend a weekend.
Highly Recommend!!

This was a really great opportunity to experience a historic aspect of South Korea. I enjoyed staying in a Hanok and I did a photoshoot in the Hanbok. It was like walking around on the set of a period piece.

Jeonju Hanok Village is a really nice place to visit, don't hesitate to get lots in the small narrow streets. Take half a day to visit Jamal Mural Village, it worth it for the paintings on the houses.
To eat I would recommand Jeondong Ddeokgalbi and Veteran restaurants, first one for bibimbap and 2nd for noodles and dumplings.

Nice mid sized city with a bit of open space along the river. Jeonju Hanok Village is worth a visit. Real touristy place but loads of people dressed in Hanbok so great place for people watching. Plenty of touristy souvenir shops if thats your thing. Plenty of Westeners and Chinese tourists dressed up in Hanboks which added to the people watching experience.

The Hanok Village is awesome and the Rail Bike as well.
The Hanok Village is awesome and the Rail Bike as well. It's very quiet and the public transpo is not really that accessible if you stay in The Hanok Village. Most of the restaurants are closing earlier.
Great stay in a traditional hanok in the hanok village. The room was charming and the bathroom was comfortable. The location was wonderful- off of a small alleyway in the traditional area. The room did include a mini-fridge and a tea maker although no table, nightstand or other furniture (traditional). The floor was heated so the space was quite comfy even as the night chilled down. The host was fabulous and super-helpful, called us a taxi for our departure and checked in on us to make sure everything was ok. Highly recommend.
The hosts were so friendly and sat us down and took the time to mark all over a map with food reccomendations, sites to see, and the best place for Hanbok rental for the day, all with discounts that are only available if you stay at Jeongga Hanok. I 100% reccomend their business and will stay again if I ever get the chance to return to Jeonju. Such a lovely homely vibe and the location is terrific- within 5-7 minutes walking distance of the village but still quiet at night and not in the heart of the city.
The location of the hanok was very good, right in the middle of the Jeonju hanok village. The landlady was very friendly and welcoming, she made sure I had evrything I needed and took the time to talk to me whenever we met. The breakfast was provided at the owners restaruant around the corner, traditional Korean food, very tasty and filling. The room was small and neat and sleeping on the floor was more comfortable than expected! A very well priced, clean and comfortable pleace in an excellent location.
It was a great time at this wonderful place. Owner was very polite, sent all details and instructions we needed in advance. Location was a huge plus since it was very quiet but also close to Hanok Village.
We had everything needed, house was well furnished, made with love and attention to small details like variety of kitchen utensils, air humidifier/purifier, capsule coffee machine, Dyson for hair (who cares about safe drying and styling), additional chargers and USB for phones, music speaker, etc.
The best guest you could ask for. He took his time to explain everything as soon as I got there with a smile, he remembered my name for the whole stay and prepared such an amazing breakfast everyday with fresh fruit picked from the local market.
The place is lovely, right in the center of the arts district, and 10 minutes away from the hanok village.
Everything was clean, and the space feels paceful and relaxing. Would recommend to anyone going to Jeonju 100%
The owners were both super lovely and really tried their best to go above and beyond, not just for us but for other guests as well. Location was close to everything. The Hanok Village is an easy walk away.
As a hostel, one doesn't usually go in with a lot of expectation but the room and bathroom were clean, the air conditioning functional. A little bit of an older building hut definitely well kept. If we head back to Jeonju we'll be staying here again.
This Hanok is in the middle of Jeonju Hanok Village so everything is in walking distance. It is really nice and the breakfast is brought to your room door in the morning and you can eat it in your room or outside. If you want to experience staying in a Hanok I really recommend coming here, but you have to know that you will sleep on the floor so it feels a little like camping, but thats part of the experience of a hanok.
Been my list to stay at Hanok and this property made my dream come true! Perfect location inside the Jeonju Hanok Village. Perfect price and super kind owner who upgraded our room 😍😍😍 and super friendly and pretty immo who open a rental shop just near the hanok. She help us to find the way 😍😍 and we rented the beautiful hanbok with a good price!!! Go to her shop now while you stay in this hanok
1. Location
The hotel was located right next to the Hanok Village
2. Staff
The staffs were really kind and even provided me lists of Do's and Don'ts
3. Breakfast
Not that bad but not that excellent
4. Cleanliness
Even the place is a bit old but the cleanliness is very tip top
5. Comfort
The Super air Conditioning and the traditional mattress
Fantastic location, right in the middle of the Hanok village- a great base from which to explore Jeonju. A traditional Korean Hanok house, but with a well fitted-out bathroom and TV and fridge. The property was very clean. The host is very thoughtful and helpful and communication was great. We had a lovely stay at this property.
The rooms were an amazing experience in an awesome location right in the middle of the Jeonju Hanok village. everything within the Village was walking distance from the property and the host was amazing with great local recommendations and helped us so much even after checking out.
SO CUTE. Right in the heart of the hanok village, but also easily accessible by car! Everything worth seeing in jeonju is within walking distance. Everything was clean, so so cute, so quiet. And the owner is very nice and speaks perfect english. True korean style heated floors.
I very much enjoyed the authenticity of the place, but above all, the owners' kindness, care for their guests and their availability. The place was extremely clean. The location in Jeonju's Hanok Village (and proximity to the city centre) is perfect.
Breakfast was great, with the main highlights being the fresh fruits. Location was also optimistically ideal as it was smack central within the Hanok Village, with most of the landmarks and points of interest being within walking distance.
Hanok with traditional atmosphere in a very convenient location, very close to the main attractions in Jeonju.
Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful host, who also booked a taxi for us and took us to the exact spot where it arrived.
-really cheap and near to 전주 한옥마을 (Jeonju Hanok Village)
-we could leave our luggage before check in
-save surroundings
-very clean, 온돌 (ondol floor heading) worked well :)
-kind host and easy communication
kind owner, fresh and delicious Korean style breakfast, located at the center of Hanok village, nice, cozy, and quiet room. I recommend anyone who would visit Jeonju!
