Friendly but under- experienced staff. Lack of experience showed on check-in, which took 25 minutes. Room cleaning was competent but not as it should be - one day we had only one bath towel and another we had no shower mat. Breakfast was good with a wide range if choice but again the service was friendly but hit and miss: I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon but the bacon arrived burnt. On one evening we ate in the restaurant because it advertised rabbit as a main course. The rabbit was not available. We ordered other dishes including one that claimed to be monkfish but turned out to be smoked shark. We would not have ordered that. The staff were very kind and helpful and we were given a delicious dessert of the chef’s choice by way of compensation- which it certainly was. However, I would be a bit circumspect about eating here again.

Location in Lecce is perfect and hotel and surroundings very well looked after.Staff at this hotel were exceptional and happily assissted us with a small problem we had. Room was large and very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast well catered for and staff at breakfast very attentive. Although rather expensive, probably the best hotel we stayed in while in Puglia.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The apartment had everything needed, the shared facilities eg pool area is very nice including the bars.
