The Hotel is perfectly placed right by the sea.
We had a kingsize room with sea view which was very clean.
The owners have a Gelateria downstairs so very conveniently we could enjoy delicious Italian breakfast outside whilst overlooking the sea. The owners were very helpful also with suggestions for restaurants and visiting Scilla, especially that there is an escalator and an elevator nearby the hotel which makes it easy to reach the upper very interesting part of Scilla .

The views across Scilla as well as the sea views and bay views are all very beautiful. Scilla is on a hillside so expect lots of paths and steps as you explore Scilla. The lift near Bar Roxy on the beach takes you right up to the piazza and a cappuccino, or a pizza from Pizza Scilla. There are places to eat along the beach and in Scilla.
Do try the local swordfish panini! Delicious.

Lovely personal BnB right on the water edge.
Lovely personal BnB right on the water edge. Large balcony over the sea with a wonderful view of the sea and Scilla. The main beach is wonderful for swimming in the clear turquoise water. It is a small relaxed town.

Close proximity to Train Station, walking distance to the Beach, Local Cafes and Restaurants along the waterfront and across from the main beach.
Walking distance to the Old town Centre either take a lift up or walk up the stairs for some paronamic views you won't be disappointed.
It is only a small coastal town with a few restaurants and Cafes to choose from

The view was spectacular.
The view was spectacular.
There was direct access to the rocks at the waterfront but no way to get in or out of the water safely. The property is advertised as The entire holiday home’ but this is false. The property has at least three apartments. We had to walk past our neighbour’s glass patio doors to access our apartment and the narrow balcony was shared.

I loved Scilla as the pace was so relaxed and a chilled vibe… I really liked where I stayed to watch the sunsets and the locals chatting in the square
Chianalea which is in walking distance is a must visit for beautiful streets and alleyways and gorgeous restaurants…
In my personal opinion no need for a car as youcan walk everywhere and there’s a train station with very regular services

The town is one of the biggest discoveries I had in years - it is probably top3 the most incredible places in Italy (at least those I have seen). It's a perfect place for a romantic trip, it offers great restaurants and great accommodation for decent prices. The views are just fantastic - it exceeded my expectations!
This is a very pleasant hotel in that is as close as can be to the marina in Scilla. The room I had was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was excellent and the standards of housekeeping very high indeed. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Other reviews speak about the decor being old-fashioned. I would say that it was typical of the South of Italy and the photographs of the hotel give you a good idea of what to expect. I liked the decor, especially the lovely tiles.
The room is very clean, quiet and comfortable with a view to the beach from the window. Free parking was very easy and close by. It's not a bed and breakfast in the traditional sense where you eat in a separate dining room but plenty of sweet and savoury foods were provided in our room as well as a stocked fridge with juices, yoghurts and cheese and cold meats. The hostss are friendly, thoughtful and generous.
We would definitely stay here again and absolutely loved our time in Scilla.
In mid-Oct, we had the whole hotel to ourselves, so it was great (although the pool had been closed). We had a Junior suite/balcony, perched up the hill outside of Scilla with brilliant sunset views of Messina, and of Scilla town in the other direction. Just excellent to sit on the balcony and have a drink at the end of the day! Breakfast was very good. Free parking. The room was very nicely sized, with modern amenities. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.
The hotel and our room as great!!! It was super clean, I didn't even use the slippers and felt like I was walking in my home floor. The room was so cozy and comfortable, and is in a great location with great view and excellent restaurants on the same street. Breakfast was better than I was expecting and the staff was so nice!
Loved it!!!
great location. balcony has great view. you can hear the small waves in your room. good Airconditioner. nice breakfast. home grown strawberries. good restaurants nearby. close easy climb to the church and castle etc. Pia is a great host with helpful ideas for your time in Scilla. would stay again.
Nella is a wonderful hostess. The balcony of the room is unbeatable. Nella will prepare for you the best breakfast in Calabria. The location is also ideal to explore Scilla. Make note that you park at the edge of town (no driving allowed in town, Nella will help you with finding parking)
The property was very well located, with easy access to the port, beach, and restaurants. The room was very clean, and the balcony with a sea view was amazing. The landlady was so warm, friendly, and helpful. We will definitely stay here if we come to Scilla again. Arrivederci!
We loved Hotel Scilla. Great location in sweet neighborhood up above beach district. Make sure you enjoy the Piazza! Classic old hotel. Easy parking. Great top floor room with terrace and rooftop view to ocean. Nice breakfast as well. Just a lovely stay. Excellent value.
I only have good things to say about this place.
It's very well located and is nicely sized.
The host was really kind and I loved the breakfast voucher to the bar with the view on Scilla.
It is very quiet, air conditioned. Super happy.
U Catoiu was centrally located & just the rest we needed after a hectic time of travelling. Fortunata went beyond our expectations as a host. Scilla is a beautiful town, we can not recommend this destination or U Catoiu more highly.
Friendly host available on WhatsApp for any queries or tips about Scilla. Comfortable room size in handy location in San Giorgio (centre) district. Very good restaurant right next door.
Mimmo made our stay exceptional. We couldn't have had a better host. We had a fabulous time in Scilla and when we return we will definitely stay at B&B signora Tita.
