Location. It is close to so many visit points around and yet it is so isolated with unbelievable peace and view on the green Toscany hilly landscape. The whole complex looks like from the movies and villa is lovely decorated. There is small swimming pool inside the complex.

The location was brilliant, close to Siena. Also, our host Chiara was very warm and welcoming. She contacted us before we reached and asked us for our breakfast preference, check-in and check out time and was very friendly. She even gave us quite a few suggestions. The breakfast was sumptuous and fresh. It was very evident that Chiara was very passionate about whatever she was doing. She even showed us around her farms and did a little wine tasting for us at her property. Her husband has a horse stable also next door.

Excellent location in an old beautiful building with terrace overlooking Tuscan hills. Good sized rooms. Ten minute walk to il Campo. Receptionist very helpful in recommending restaurants.
Surrounded by 2 hectares of rich parkland, Il Piccolo Castello is a 4-star hotel immersed in the Tuscan countryside, situated only 1 km from the castle walls of Monteriggioni.

Big swimming pool with whirlpool
Superb evening meal.
If you're looking to visit Sienna but prefer to stay outside the city, this location is a great choice! However, as an artist who pays close attention to details and aesthetics, I must say that the hotel could significantly improve its room decoration and possibly consider renovating the rooms. While our room was spacious, the overall decor left much to be desired. The cleanliness was satisfactory overall, but the bathroom could benefit from renovation to achieve a thoroughly clean and sparkling feel.
Location is close to Siena & SR 222(Chiantigiana), which is the main scenic road through the Chianti region. Accomodations were clean & very comfortable. The views from our room were wonderful, & the hospitality of Antonella & Roberto was warm and friendly. The breakfast area was lovely & the breakfast presented by Antonella were plentiful & made with quality fresh ingredients. As an added bonus, the geriatric in Quercegrossa was better than any you'll find in Siena. VBG
The grounds of the hotel are beautiful enough on their own, but they’re also surrounded by absolutely gorgeous scenery. The pool area makes you feel like you’re at a more upscale hotel.
The rooms were a little dated, but since the rest of the hotel was so beautiful we didn’t mind at all.
Breakfast was great, the pool area is nice, and it was a great location to explore Tuscany, and Chianti in particular, by car. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Lovely location and really beautiful area. Traditional look and feel and really comfortable. Our room was clean and spacious and we slept well!
Breakfast was abundant and the staff were lovely!
Restaurant attached to the hotel is brilliant food delicious and staff lovely 😊 catering for gluten free too!
Swimming was fantastic we didn’t realise how big it was and we wish we had stayed longer!
Very nice staff, lovely smile from the lady at the desk, possibility to order pizza from the restaurant to room, big and free parking, lovely terrace with beatiful views, large space around the hotel, great choice of breakfast (to choose from salt as well as sweet) - high quality. You will not leave in the moring with empty stomach ;)
large rooms, for the most part a quiet location. Clean facilities. We were not happy at first, but it grew on us and left really happy. We did not manage our expectations well, nor did we do adequate research beforehand, but I would recommend it as long as they weren't expecting hotel-like accommodations.
It is a pretty hotel in a lovely setting. Easy access to main roads, close to Sinena. Our room was large and our bathroom also with good lighting. Had dinner one night and the pizza was excellent. Nice breakfast buffet with a view of Tuscay countryside.
The whole experience was excellent, the hotel was extremely clean, the room was very lovely style and comfortable. The environment was very quiet at night and the breakfast was excellent too. I am definitely coming back to this hotel next time
The location is beautiful and the staff were friendly and caring. It felt like being with family. Would definitely recommend Mulino di Quercegrossa to anyone planning a stay in Tuscany.
The room was old but everything worked and was nice for a vacation,
Not to fancy of a hotel but the location is amazing and the pool and restaurant were great.
Would go there again.
