A budget option for Venice, which was what we were looking for. Train station is about a ten minute walk, the train in itself leaves efter few minutes and also takes around ten minutes. So all, in all, it's a good option for the purpose. Parking was easy to find right around the corner. Staff was friendly.
The Alverì is set in a new 3-storey building in the new business area and offers free parking and soundproofed rooms.

The hotel was in a great location. Outside the front door was the bus stop for bus 43 to take you on a short trip over the bridge straight to Venice. There was also a train station that did the same a short 10-minute walk from the hotel.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making sure you had all the information you needed to get around and assisted with any questions you had.
The room was spacious, modern, and clean.
Breakfast was a buffet and was good.
I would recommend this hotel if you're visiting Venice.

The staff was amazing, always helpful, the rooms, beds and shower cozy, the room cleaning its destacable, and the breakfast superior. The bus and where you can buy the tickets to Venice is so close and in 10 min you will be in Venice, also its close to the train station.
Just a few steps from Venice Mestre Station, Hotel Colombo is in Marghera. Rooms at the Colombo all have private bathrooms, air conditioning and a TV.

Room was very basic. Bedding and towels were clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Liked to location, quick bus trip to Venice and lovely walks in the evening around the suburbs with wonderful local eateries. There was a restaurant at the hotel but we never had a chance to try it, looked like they made wood fired pizza as well as other dishes.
