We stayed in the Sicilian room for one night and it was fantastic! Actually, it was more like an apartment with its own kitchenette and separate entrance, ensuring great privacy. The hosts were amazing - friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The whole place was clean and smelled wonderful. It's also conveniently close to Syracuse, making it a great base for exploring the area.

Breakfast was good, although the choice was not very big. The little house we had alone was modern, with nice windows and a good kitchen. Cooking by yourself is definitly not a problem.
Our daughter (8y) loved all the animals, especially she was quickly befriended with the little chihuahuas. Its like a little zoo. The owners are ultra friendly and relaxed.

The place is FANTASTIC- starting from super sweet host (responsive, kind, offered free breakfasts, wine, muffins), location (quiet, close to the beach, close to stores and Siracusa, perfect spot for someone who has a car and wants to explore this part of the island), the apartment itself (comfy bed, clean, specious, with a big tarrace and parking at the property; the kichen was better equipped than my kitchen at home). The airco unit is only in the kitchen, but it worked just fine, only needed little longer to cool down the air inside the apartment. Eveything we might have needed was there: towels, shampoo, shower gel, dental sets, big bottle of water in the fridge, some small jams, biscuits; there was salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar in the kitchen.

My room was very noisy on the ground floor with lorries just outside the window. But very clean if small. No table or chair so it was the bed or nothing. Bedclothes changed very day and spotless. Hot water took 10 minutes to reach the shower!
