Great place to stay overnight, standard apartment facilities provided inside too which was ideal for our stay, WiFi connection was great and allowed us to share photos and videos and FaceTime etc. I liked the place, shame we couldn’t smoke indoors but was no issue to just step outside and do so.

Property was clean, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay in Livorno. Pool and spa are was lovely to relax in. All the staff we dealt with were extremely helpful and kind. Would recommend to anyone looking for a home from home in Livorno. I'm pretty much a full time vagabond, so spend most of my life in hotels. These have a habit of blurring into each other in their blandness... this place is refreshingly different though.
This appears to be a genuine family run hotel, and everybody I dealt with was really nice, despite the language barrier. My fault, for being a poor linguist.
Some other reviews seem a little negative.....but its clean, good WiFi, and comfortable. What more do you need?

I stayed only for one night of a business trip (September). Since I was on a very variable schedule, I had to be continuously in contact with the reception in terms of my arrival time - they were always available and very supportive (even though I arrived an hour after the maximum check in time). The hotel is on an excellent location by the sea, which offers the opportunity to walk - we walked on 7 am. Amazing breakfast.
The most important is the excellent building of the hotel - we actually reffered to it with my colleagues as "the mansion".

The area has lots of renovation and empty properties.
There is a supermarket but out of season only a couple of restaurants open.
A nice apartment, the furniture is new, the kitchen is big and well equipped. Two small bedrooms, two toilets + 1 shower. I'd say there was everything we needed. It's very close to the sea shore, also there's a supermarket near it. Calambrone itself is not very inspiring place (check its history regarding ruined buildings), at least in late October, but the beach is very nice and sandy.
