We were made to feel very welcome by Anna, Alessia and Elenor and no questions, requests or enquiries on our part were ever too much for these fantastic ladies.
Our room was spacious, clean and well stocked with toiletries, towels etc.. The room was made up every day whilst we were our and although we never met the house staff in person we would like the management to pass on our gratitude to these unseen workers
The continental style breakfast, which was included with our booking, was well portioned, always fresh and where necessary, hot.
There are plenty of loungers around the pool area and the pool itself is very clean aided by the underwater pool cleaning robot and occasionally ground staff.
The hotel itself is in a quiet area set back from the road and a 15 minute walk from the nearest beach at Torre Grande. We would not recommend swimming in the sea here. The water is very brown and when we mentioned this to Anna, she immediately told us of better cleaner beaches towards Tharros which are about a 15 minute drive away. The village of Torre Grande itself has numerous bars and restaurants plus a pharmacy and small supermarket. Be warned however, due to Sardinia’s Spanish past, the locals siesta in the afternoon so shops and pharmacies tend to close between 14.00 and 16.30.
Set in the Sinis Peninsula, 4 km from the archaeological site of Tharros, Hotel Ristorante Sa Pedrera offers garden-view rooms. Wi-Fi and private parking are both free.

I will definitely be back again :)

Luisessa is a remarkable host and works hard to to make your visit as great as possible…as a Cabras native she knows the city’s history, the best places to go as well as the best restaurants & she is extremely knowledgeable about the beaches. Her breakfasts are wonderful, especially the seatas, and she makes a great long coffee!

The town is clean and tidy with a choice of restaurants.
The town is clean and tidy with a choice of restaurants. Good location for a short drive to the beach. We loved visiting Tharros and the archaeological museum. We also happened upon the barefoot race, Corsa dei Scalzi to the local shrine which happens on the first weekend in September.
It’s a very sweet and small hotel with a very beautiful pool in the garden. The furniture in the rooms is a bit old and the mattresses is not very comfy, but it was fine for us. It was all very clean every day. It’s a very good location to do some exploring of the west side of Sardinia and the town itself has a few nice restaurants as well (we liked L’Oliveto most). The staff is super friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. Rooms 110, 111, 112 are recommendable because their terrace has a nice view to the pool.
We stayed for a week and loved everything about it. It was extremely well-appointed and homey. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom had plenty of hot water and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. And, our hosts Stefani and Marisa were fantastic and helpful. The back patio is really pleasant and there is a grill. Cabras is a good location for doing day trips to other places, especially key archaeological sites like Tharros, Su Nuraxi di Barumini, Nuraghe Losa, Sant Antine and the mountains.
Beautifully renovated property right in the middle of Cabras, decorated with authentic Sardinian artwork but very comfortable as well. Great breakfast as well, most of it house made.
Special mention for the lovely hosts Ivana and Francesco, always available and more than happy to provide you with their best advice for great restaurants and so on. We are particularly thankful as we could not make it on the dates of the booking; they were kind enough to accommodate us for a later arrival.
I stayed with my family in Cabras for 1 week. We enjoyed the stay very much. The size of the apartment was perfect, beds were extremely comfortable, all comforts were provided with care (kitchen and bathroom facilities were clean and with all utensils we needed). We had everything that we needed and it was only 10 to 20 min away from the best natural reserve beaches in the area. We would definitely come back and stay here again. The staff was friendly and very available at all times.
Pino was a very kind host, helping with everything possible. He even went into the countryside to pick wild prickly pears for us for breakfast. The house is designed to a very high standard in excellent taste while retaining all its character. You have all the comfort of a 5 star hotel while all the charm of a historic village. Breakfast was excellent and above all we loved having breakfast sitting in Pino's orchard.
Breakfast was excellent with varied choices. The hostess, Luisella, is very nice and accommodating. She is also glad to share her recommendations around Cabras. Even though me and my brother only stayed for 1 night she made us feel welcome. The B&B is very near restaurants. I should mention the place is clean and the room is spacious.
Luisella is a very nice, welcoming, helpful host.
Her breakfast was wonderful, fresh fruit, homemade cookies...the best breakfast we had while travelling around Sardegna.
The bed and breakfast is situated in a quiet area of Cabras, you can easily walk to restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay at L‘Artista
🥰🥰
Sa Pedrera was the perfect place for us to base while exploring Sardinia’s west coast. Wonderful staff, great food, excellent location this is the place to stay to experience the beauty of the west coast, hiking, swimming visiting ancient sites are all within reach of this lovely hotel.
It was great time with Alessio and Beatrice (his dog) :)
great wifi connection (considering the wifi adventures in sardinia). location is very private, but one has easy access to anything (provided that one owns a car). it is located in one of the main roads btw cabras and t. grande.
Clean, quiet, honestly, it’s a regular house turned mini hotel. So, while you get the hotel vibe since you have your own room and bathroom, you live in a house like all the others (from the outside). It’s great.
Excellent friendly host. Fantastic breakfast: strawberries, youghurt, cereals, jams, coffee, fresh pastries and so on. Stylish and unique apartment, excellent location near Cabras good fish restaurants.
We are two friends, traveling in Sardegna by car. Cabras was our stop between Cagliari and Alghero. Small nice village Cabras, very good restaurant and fantastic B&B with delicious homemade food!
