The host is a super friendly person. There are two hot tubs available and there’s not so many rooms in that motel so they never get crowded, actually we were alone there all the time. There’s a free parking right in front of the property.

It was close to airport.
It was close to airport. Room was overpriced for the accommodation. Breakfast we had to pay for but wish we would have just stopped at a gas station instead. The guy wears a chef jacket but only thing that was cooked was boiled eggs. Price for breakfast was too costly for what you get.

The room had an electric kettle, mugs, plates and silverware, which was exactly what we needed. The location was very quiet and it’s a short walk from a lake with a path around it. Would certainly recommend the hotel. Great value for the price! It is close to the Blue Lagoon and the active volcano. Much more reasonable price that many of the drab hotels in Keflavik. We actually drove into Reykjavik our first night in Iceland but parking is an extra $30/day. Fun to spend one night there but this place is family owned. Clean dark. And we got a private bathroom.
