We got stuck during a massive 3-day snowstorm. The staff was impeccable. They created a lunch menu for everyone in the hotel and gave us constant updates on the road conditions. They asked a neighbor farmer to come and plow the snow in the parking lot (5 out of 5 stars service).
The breakfast is beyond amazing, the rooms are spacy and comfortable and the food in the restaurant was great (although a bit pricey).
Recommend it to everyone.

Best hotel with a view in ICELAND, we definitly recommend everyone to book the Delux KING suite as the Godafoss falls is visible from your room day and night, we stayed during full moon it was spectacular. And if you are lucky like us, you could catch Northern lights from your room.

Our host was really welcoming, caring and informative. They took really seriously that every guest should feel like home and were proud of that they still give a classic guesthouse experience (of which they should).
We ate the best breakfast here during our 12 days in Iceland! Exceptional variety and quality, with care prepared.
The room was comfy, with an extra sink.
