It was nice stay in Mango Tree Homestay. The place is little far off from Hospet but really close to the archeological sites of Hampi. Also if you wany a quite stay in a homely environment it is the perfect place to be. The owner also helps with necessary tips and arrangements for sightseeing. Homemade breakfast and coffee we really liked most. The restaurant facility of the owner although Vegetarian but of really good quality.

Great location. Could walk everywhere and only need a tuktuk driver for one day to see monuments. Rocky was very helpful in organising a driver to pick me up from the train station in Hosapete. The room was very clean and the aircon was fantastic. Best is to wake up early and see everything before it gets too hot. Then sit in the room and cool off. Wifi worked great! Rocky helped organise laundry too. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the town. Rocky even let me borrow his computer to do some data transfers. I stayed during Holi festival! It was amazing. Rocky even let me stay till my bus that left in the evening. Would recommend for convenience!

It was an amazing experience.
It was an amazing experience. We went for Holi and it was worth it. The only pain point was the weather. It was too hot so I would definitely recommend you go either during monsoon or post that. Apart from that the landscape is very unique and beautiful.

Hampi is a very special place even if you just want to watch the sunrise or the sunset, however it alot more to offer with the history of the city. I fully rec
ommend you hire a qualified guide for the day it costs around 2500/3000 but well worth it otherwise your just walking around ancient sites not knowing what it all was. It's very spread out so you need transport, scooters tuktuk taxi. Alot is free but some places you need to pay it costs 600 which lets you into 3 of the locations. The temple elephant goes down to the river for its daily bath which is a good experience as you can get in the river near to it. Just enjoy it

The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable.
The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable. We benefitted from being adjacent to this in the Temple View Hotel in the bazaar area. The museum and main palaces are a must, made more pleasant and achievable on the heat by engaging an auto rickshaw driver at an agreed rate for the day( suggest 1,500 rupees for the day) Chill out bamboo was our favourite eating and cool drink location.

Nobody will tell you the following.
Nobody will tell you the following.
I previewed nearly hundreds of videos on Hampi on YouTube. But nobody gave proper iternary about how to visit the places.
Use Google map and directions to visit the places. Hier two wheeler if you don't have your own vehicle. Do not go for auto rickshaw option unless otherwise you can't drive.
Start the morning with queens bath and surrounding temples. Then visit Vitthal temple.
Take some rest in your hotel and in the evening visit sunset point and surrounding temples.
At night you can visit virupaksha temple.
Next morning visit sunrise point. Then go for "darli" ride. Visit the other side of Hampi that is hippy Island. Visit Anjanedari hill.
If you have more time you can visit the other remaining places.

As the Hampi is famous for the Stone Chariot which was situated at the Vitthala Temple and other monuments which includes Virupaksha Temple. The best thing is the Sunrise & Sunset at the different locations i.e. Matanga Hills, Sanapur Lake etc. Overall the Best trip for the solo travellers as we will get partners from the another countries which came to roam Hampi. If you want to chillout with your friends definitely visit but book a room near virupaksha temple and use bicycle or the journey which will give best experience ever.
The room was very spacious, even the bathroom was very big, there were all the necessary facilities like ac, tv, geyser, shower, beautiful lights, a terrace, a balcony, comfy beds, towels and toiletries provided by host. Breakfast was available at the property and it was delicious and very affordable.
The host helped us a lot in traveling within Hampi and arranged autos whenever required, he was really very helpful, can't thank him enough for making the journey so smooth. Loved this stay! We had the best time here!
Everything was brilliant about this property. The location was amazing, surrounded by beautiful nature. Gopi and his staff were all really lovely and accommodating. There is a restaurant on site, and Gopi and his staff serve very tasty homemade food. The room was spacious and the shower had hot water. My bed was really comfortable. It was a really peaceful place to stay. Gopi was also kind enough to take me to Hampi and back on his motorbike a few times over my stay, which was brilliant and very helpful .
Excellent stay at a location close to all the major attractions in Hampi (Queen's bath, royal enclosure etc). Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. I stayed with my friend and us being two female travelers, didn't face any issues at the property. In fact, people were really kind and helpful. We were able to build a good rapport with the manager Kiran and other staff at the property. The food at the Hotel was delicious. The overall ambience was fantastic. I would love to go back. Highly recommended!
Highly recommended place to stay in Hampi, infact i would say its the best! It is a proper house where owner and family lives at ground and provide room for guest at first floor. They actually make you feel at home. The services are really quick and upto the mark. They fulfill all your requirements even if it is out of way for them. Rooms are very beautiful, clean and hygenic. 2km away from the center it gives you a perfect gateway from the city life.
P.S : dnt miss the food here.
i had a great time in Hampi staying at Brindavan homestay. it is in a good location within walking distance to markets and temples. it was nice to be able to enjoy a light meal or snack at a street restaurant right in front. there is no restaurant in the accommodation, but so i was able to relax in quiet conditions. manager Swamy is a gentleman. he provided friendly and detailed feedback on customer requests. if i go to Hampi again, this is a place I want to stay again.
Worth a recommendation for everybody to stay. Our stay was delightful. Though the property is centrally located but at the same time it is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists spots. The ambience is wonderful. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The hosts were very helpful, hospitable and polite. All required facilities and amenities were available. The location of the property was perfect for exploring both, North and South Hampi
When we visited hampi, it was raining due to cyclone even though it was November. The owner of Abhi home stay is Raghvendra. He is super nice and hospitable. He made our stay comfortable and offered us every possible help. Even umbrellas. The breakfast was super delicious. The room was nice, clean and big. It was on first floor and there was a nice terrace available to spend relaxing time. It was the best decision to stay here. ☺️
This stay was the best stay for us, It's brand new property so you can go and get the pleasure of best home stay, particularly the polite way of communicating, the cleanliness, guide for the local things and the guy ready for any help at any time.
This is at New Hampi which is very close to Hampi but don't worry about convenience, it's ready to you any time.
Special Thanks to Nagendra for making our stay best...👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The room is very clean and comfortable beds.. one of the best place to stay and the food which is served by the owner of homestay is yummy. Over all gives a homely stay. The food is served on request basis. Best trip and stay i had in Hampi. I would recommend people to stay in this homestay. Vani the homestay owner looks after you for every need and takes care of you and guides about the place. Amazing place to stay.
The location is undeniably amazing if you are okay with the fact that the resort is on the other side of the riverbank opposite to where all the popular sights are. The fastest way to the main temple complex is via ferry or coracle boat from Hippie Island (which is like 20 min away from the resort).
Jack, the resort dog, was lovely too. Scooter rental is available. And they offer beer.
The food was amazing. We even got a free meal due to a festival. The location was in New Hampi around 3kms from Hampi. But is an alright location to travel around in Hampi.
Hotels aren't great in Hampi as it's a Village.
The WiFi was pretty good, as the mobile networks were useless in hampi.
The bathroom and rooms were clean and of decent size. There is also an option for A/C.
We really enjoyed our stay. Mr. Shrinivas is a very good host and he was very much helpful in guiding us regarding Hampi sightseeing. All the facilities are on par with any high end hotel and its value for money. I also strongly recommend One Mr.Pampa auto driver who is too good and has very good knowledge about whole hampi. It was a homely atmosphere.
the property is perfectly situated if you plan to visit the Hampi temples. also the host family are great. extremely hospitable and they even have meal offerings which are a small price and very good. we've travelled throughout India and this room was the best we've stayed in very clean and relatively modern with AC and en-suite and TV.
The hotel / resort is in a good position to visit Hampi. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were kind and helpful and the food excellent, with good choice. The massage centre was fine and it was good to have a pool on hot days! It had a relaxing ambience. We were well looked after and happy with the experience.
Cost effective and value for money. One should prefer to stay here if they are traveling to Hampi. Location is Very close to Virupaksha temple. Traveler can do trekking and visit Matanga Hill & Vittala temple but for other sites like queens bath have to take auto/taxi or by personal vehicle.
This hotel is in JSW township, which is very well done and super green. There was a temple and lake inside township. One can spend a day there. The swimming pool was big and good; there were activities for kids. Overall very nice experience. Hampi is 24km from this place.
Very well kept and comfortable hotel. The food is sumptuous with a great spread of options. The location is also great which is within the Jindal township. It is 35 kms from the humpi ruins but still a very plush option to stay.
We had an amazing time here! Beautiful hotel/rooms, gorgeous grounds, relaxing spa, and more delicious food than we could handle! Loved the nature walk also.
Ask for Hanuman to be your guide around Hampi...he was excellent!
Easily one of the best views to stay at in Hampi. The owner Harsha too is easily one of the friendliest energies to connect with. A must stay for any traveller who needs their silences. Thank you Harsha for everything 😊
