This is a guest house run like a homestay. The family prepares great food, the momos were quite outstanding. Quaint wooden cottages, nice quiet location, with a view of the Indus river and the mountains from the private balcony with comfortable seating. Tastefully done wood and stone outdoor decor. A few minutes driving distance away from the impressive Hemis Monastery. A short walk from the main market in Karu with many restaurants. Quite good value for money.

I loved my stay here. Lovely family, Salim was so helpful, uncle and aunty was so kind. I had a very good experience in Leh. Apart from the scenic beauty and peaceful environment, I also had a totally different experience of swimming in the streams of river Indus and playing football with the locals, thanks to Salim.
