We made this reservation last minute as other booked accommodation was disgusting. So welcoming to come to a clean stay in a beautiful location overlooking the water. Host was great. Welcoming and friendly. Good breakfast. The host even offered us another room with a larger bed over the room we had booked

Good choice for breakfast. Carol was very accommodating. The property itself is spectacular and is located just a short walk from both pubs and an excellent restaurant in the village of Union Hall. Over the last few years we have stayed in many B&b’s. This one is top of the heap. Kudos to Carol and Jim.

The location is beautiful. The staff in the restaurant in the evening are lovely and very friendly. The meal in the evening was brilliant in every respect. Morning is different- Margaret isnt keen on Oat Milk and i didnt need to know this however she was very efficient and organised. The room was very comfortable and clean and spacious. Generally the staff and the general appearance of the hotel are great.

This property was fantastic there is nothing negative to report. It had everything we needed and was in a great location. Host Vincent was very nice and even supplied a cake for us on arrival. Teabags and milk were also provided which is a lovely touch. Roscarbery is beautiful so I would highly recommend both location and property for a getaway.
Union Hall is small, affluent and safe. Perfect for a weekend break easy and picturesque drive from Cork Airport. Easy walking distance to many places of natural beauty and there is a working fishing pier situated in the village. Pubs, with exceptional friendly service and good quality local produce, are excellent . Can walk there. There is a well stocked local Centra supermarket which sells essentials such as wine, hotly prepared food and coffee to go. Glandore is about 2 miles away around the bay, Easy to get to Schull, Clonakilty, Mizen Head as well as Beara Peninsula. Kinsale is a about 45 mins drive. Perfect stop for seeing the beauty West Cork

Union Hall is a gem.
Union Hall is a gem. Outstandingly beautiful location and a lovey holiday destination. All the main attractions of West Cork are easily accessed while the village pub/restaurants (2), are very good. The Dock Wall in particular was excellent while Hayes's across the estuary in Glandore was outstanding.

It's a small village, with a shop, a cafe that is only open at the weekends, and one great pub (and a second OK pub). The people are friendly, but there is not much else here. With a few more shops and cafes, it could be a bustling little port village, but it needs some investment. It is a great location for visiting other places, and it has some nice walks around the area (although it is a hilly location).

We had a great meal in The Dock Wall, with seating on a terrace right up against the water. There's not a huge amount to do in the town itself, but there are several walking routes to nearby beaches that can be done in 1-3 hours, and plenty to do and see outdoors in the scope of a day trip. I loved how quiet and peaceful the location was.
This was a gem of a place. We arrived after a long day of cycling and were quite tired and hungry. The setting was in a the quaint village of Union Hill and unfortunately the local pubs were not open for that day. Julie, the host, drove us to a nearby town for dinner, and picked us afterwards. She was also so kind as to throw our bike clothing into the wash. Her breakfast was fabulous with a great selection of items.
Union Hall is a a pretty fishing village with a friendly atmosphere. Adela welcomed us and looked after us very well. The bedroom had two lovely armchairs looking out over the patio and the gorgeous view of the sea and the fishing boats. The bed was super comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.
Glandore Inn across the bay is a lovely place for a meal, though they close at 7pm and don't take bookings.
This was the most beautiful guesthouse. Everything was exceptional, from the room, the view and the unbelievable breakfast. Julie is so kind and welcoming too, with advice on what to do and see. She brings a general feeling of warmth. The location was also spectacular. Driving over the bridge into Union Hall was a wow moment. Highly recommended.
The village of Union Hall has a spectacular location and is a great base for exploring West Cork. Lovely sea view from our room, which was very comfortable, clean, and bright. Nice continental breakfast in the morning with a welcome pot of coffee. Very kind and helpful hostess who gave us great tips to explore the local area.
Beautiful rooms and bath. The house is set in delightful gardens and neighborhood. Walking distance to lovely Union Hall and a short drive to many other great locations. Great breakfast with menu options every morning. Friendly hosts that were keen to be helpful. Could not ask for more.
The room and bathroom were modern and well appointed. We were going on a night kayak a few minutes away so wanted to stay nearby. Julie was lovely and met us at checkin. Breakfast the next day was amazing! It was 6 minutes from Reen Pier. The view of the bay was also outstanding.
Perfect location in Union Hall. Amazingly friendly and hard working host Adella. Varied breakfast, without hot eggs, but with everything else. Rooms overlooking Glandore Harbor. Short walk to pubs and restaurants in town. Property is updated and is perfectly clean. QUIET!!
The building and bedroom were amazing - better than anything I have ever been in. It was like a luxurious hotel. The grounds were beautiful and there were long-distance sea views. A very simple run down to the village (Union Hall) for dinner. Breakfast was excellent also.
Beautiful home in a stunning location. Perfect base for exploring the surrounding areas or simply staying local and enjoying a more relaxed pace. Michael and Sheelagh were great hosts. Looking forward to being able to return to Union Hall again in the future.
beautiful house and garden, quality bedding, and exceptional breakfast. Professionally managed by Carol and Jim. Felt completely at ease and 'at home', wonderful peaceful location, yet close to Union Hall, very happy to recommend to family and friends.
Gorgeous property in an idyllic area. Walk to the nearby town for a sumptuous meal. Breakfast, served on white linen, is beautiful, and also delicious. Such careful attention to detail—and the hosts are an absolute delight.
Wonderful hosts who went out of their way to ensure an enjoyable stay. The breakfast was fabulous. The room was lovely, really comfortable and clean and the location is great as it's just a short walk to Union Hall.
Location was very good, an easy walk into Union Hall. Beautiful views over the bay. Quiet and peaceful. Nice clean and well stocked studio. Adela was helpful with recommendations of where to eat and what to do
Everything! The property is stunning, the decor is gorgeous. The views were a delight and the host was 10/10. And there are 3 bars/restaurants within 2 minutes walking distance - what's not to love!
Friendly host, nicely maintained property with pretty views, quiet for sleeping; a few restaurants, pubs, market close by; Union Hall & Glandore - sweet little towns
