Beautifully kept mansion. Ultra friendly owner (Ross), who went out of his way to make us feel welcomed. Massive kitchen with free make-it-yourself breakfast. Lovely garden, also ideal for the dogs. Massive rooms with comfy beds. Felt like home. Congratulations to the owner Ross, you really made our stay truly pleasant. We will be back.

Fabulous spot, tucked away amidst old oaks and beeches just outside Abbeyleix. Simon and Eilish are perfect hosts, and the whole property exudes a peaceful and powerful energy. A great spot to unwind, contemplate, and mix. Lovely fresh, healthy breakfast in the morning in my room. Take time to walk the grounds and experience the energy of the ancient navel. Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect from the property to the room and building. The breakfast was exceptional and so filling we couldn't get off the table. Mary's scones are second to none. Both Frank and Mary are amazing hosts. The room is stunning, and the bathroom is amazing with both shower and bath you can use to your liking. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely tell all friends to stay there when visiting Kilkenny. Its also not far from the city and nicely located close to Jenkinstown and Dunmore Cave.
