I stayed as part of my working week, just two nights. my first night i arrived late, but was still met by the host, which i did not expect but was very grateful for. It was small but nicely decorated, warm, cozy & had everything i needed. I would stay there again.

Perfect little property for our weekend getaway to the races in Kildare.
The owner could not have been more helpful, the place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, just round the corner to a station and can book cabs. Cafe around the corner for breakfast and also a pizza restaurant just next door. Kildare only one stop on the train with a lovely restaurant called Hartes and a few nice pubs.

Warm welcome. Beautiful room, tastefully furnished with very comfortable beds. Breakfast; was very tasty and plentiful - we renjoyed it very much from the wonderful self-made bread and jam to the fresh fruit, local milk, cheese and ham as well as the cooked breakfast! Nice to have the option of pancakes, too.
James was a lovely host, thank you very much for posting our cards!

The hotel is beautifully presented and well maintained. The staff could not offer any more assistance than they did, always going that extra which makes the difference when deciding if we are willing to go back. I could not recommend this hotel more and will definitely be going back but for a longer stay.

The apartment was fully furnished with high end sofas, beds, bed linen, towels etc. The heating was on a timer and came on throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and they had even left coffee, tea, sugar etc. It was a two minute walk to The Heritage Hotel which we ate in (gorgeous food) and there are plenty of lovely walks in the area. The apartment even has a lift! A beautiful apartment to stay in. We will definitely be back again soon.MargotIreland - 10Scored 10

Was our 2nd choice as I bungled the original booking at another venue. But so glad I did, as this hotel turned out to be exceptional, and beyond what we expected. Upon arrival, we were met by the friendly Joanna and Siobhan, and made to feel right at home. When entering our room, we were immediately impressed with the size, and the décor, plus an impressive bathroom. Went for a swim and hot tub, and then off to dinner at Seven, which offered generous portions, tasty as well, and at reasonable prices. Breakfast was great, and the staff at Blakes were also super friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, and will definitely return again.NeilIreland - 6.0Scored 6.0

Beautiful location and hotel. Our problem was the room was like a sauna so much so we couldn’t use the twin room and had to sleep in the living room. So disappointed for us. Also lift access not working!! Poor! We did notify the receptionist o checking out

Our stay in the Heritage Hotel was relaxing and very enjoyable.The restaurant in the hotel was first class.The spa experience at the hotel is to be recommended for both young and old.There is also a swimming pool and jacuzzi.For those who play golf there is an excellent golf course.There is a five kilometre walking track around the golf course.Bicycles are available in the locality.There are many interesting places to visit locally.I would recommend Emu Court.Mary - 8.0Scored 8.0

I had a wonderful overnight stay at the hotel while attending a conference in Portlaoise which is only 20 mins away by car. The breakfast in the morning was very good for the buffet selection and the scambled eggs were very tasty. I played the championship golf course the next day which was in remarkable condition considering the time of year and look forward to both a return stay and another round. Unfortunately time did not permit a visit to the Spa other than a quick walk around - definitely up for a visit next time.AnnIreland
