Croagh is a lovely small village and enhanced by the lodge garden centre and restaurant. great place to stop over for breakfast, snacks and drinks. Fantastic garden shop and garden centre. Incredible friendly and helpful staff (mainly family run).
There are two wo pubs in village (no food). About 6 kilometers east,on N21 is the most amazing village of Adare. Its got everything, shops, bars , restaurants, and hotels, churches.
its probable the pettiest village I have ever visited in this area.
This wonderful hotel was our first overnight stay in Ireland. We were met by a very friendly hotel owner who offered us a better room than we had booked. The hotel is in perfect condition, just like from the picture in the catalogue: clean, comfortable, with a homely atmosphere. There is a cafe near the hotel where you can have a snack. We had coffee and cakes, I can't say anything about breakfast as we travelled further in the morning towards the Cliffs of Moher. I can definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
This was one of the most stylish & comfortable rooms we had during our 8 day trip to Ireland. The room was huge, it felt like a 5 star hotel. The owner is super friendly & gave us a great recommendation for dinner as their restaurant was closed. Only downside was WiFi was a bit spotty at times. I would highly recommend staying here.
Room and bathroom were a good size. Everything very clean. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. No breakfast available in hotel but cafe next door owned by same people which was very reasonably priced and had a good choice of menu. Staff in cafe were very pleasant and efficient.
Mary was a fantastic host and to be honest it was the best hotel/breakfast i have ever had, especially the breakfast.
Mary is so professional and goes above and beyond to meet the guests expectations.I would 100% recommend here.
Great accommodation, and the hospitality excellent, lovely settings in Croagh Village, walking distance to all, Couldn't have asked for more. Defiantly recommend staying here and would return in a Heart beat..
We stayed here after attending a wedding in a different hotel nearby. The staff we met here were very nice and even dropped us back to the other hotel to collect our car the next morning.
Beautiful hotel, the room was quite large and scrupulously clean. Staff were so nice and friendly. The food in the restaurant was good, and the area was nice and quiet.
