Breakfast superb hot food on a hot plate, very hard to come by these days. No dreadful buffet with luke warm food and cold plates. Good selection of fruit just excellent. Elaine looked after us well.

We didn’t realize that they have several hiking trails with beautiful views. Would have loved to try one, time wouldn’t allow.
The food in the lounge was wonderful and the servers were very attentive.

Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Didn't like the dark dreary No. 206 twin room and having to carry our hand luggage up two flights of steep stairs as there is no lift.
Hotel needs modernisation and a makeover

Just outstanding!!
Just outstanding!! Location is breathtaking with a fab view of the Glen and the Galtee mountains. Staff were very friendly from start to finish. The only downside was there was no lift, so if you are impaired in any way request a room downstairs. Food was absolutely delicious aswell.

I would not recommend anyone to stay there expecting anything other than a 1 star rating, hotel does not meet IS:3218 :2019 fire standards, this is a requirement by Irish law... no breakfast included in the €105 for one person in a room facing a tree/forest 10 feet from the window. Tiles broken and uneven nearly cut my foot on the sharp edge, when informed staff they didn't really say anything, receptionist barely acknowledged me on departure.

We stayed just one night and we were expecting a peaceful one but even though this hotel is rather remote up in the Galtee Mountains it was far from peaceful. There were doors slamming, alarms going off and noisy TVs heard through the walls.
It would be great for hikers and bikers I’m sure though if they are deep sleepers. We arrived at 7.30pm after driving up very narrow twisty lanes and it took us a good 20 mins from town to find the hotel. We went down for dinner at 8pm only to be told they were running out of food! The restaurant didn’t close until 8.30pm. The choice we eventually got was small due to us being Pescatarian.
The rooms are clean and beds are comfy but the shower over the bath had a clinging curtain which was very irritating. An upgrade would make this place a lovely hotel. The parking was great too as it is onsite, free and plenty of it. The staff were not that welcoming.

Stunning views from the Hotel. Food was fab!
Stunning views from the Hotel. Food was fab! Staff were very friendly & helpful.. Bedrooms were spotless in our lodge with beautiful view from main bedroom with balcony. Downstairs however needed a bit of tlc!
Absolutely wonderful B&B! Remote location from Cashel which my wife and I loved. Beautiful patio area and the restaurant attached was very accommodating and very good. Portion sizes are large so be careful! This time of year everything was in bloom and we could not of had a better time. Breakfast was amazing and Mary was very helpful in helping us plan our next two days. We have no question that we will return and for a longer stay.
The hotel is well-located with a large deck to enjoy views of the Galtee Mountains. The staff was friendly and dinner exceeded expectations with large portions and attention to presentation. Plenty of hot water and good shower pressure was very much appreciated after a long day hiking.
It was a good location, beautiful views from the hotel. It would be a great spot for walkers. I was there with 2 small kids. It was well placed for exploring South Tipperary. The price was very good for a triple room for B&B booked last minute.
The location was very good , great views and ample parking if a bit of a slope either up or down depending on where you parked. The hotel was a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable and the staff polite and helpful.
Dinner at the restaurant was good and good value. Being able to have drinks at the terrace overlooking the Glen of Aherlow was lovely. The shower was super strong and hot.
Fantastic place for a romantic getaway, nestled at the foot of the Galtee mountains. Really scenic and hotel is so comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Aherlow is a lovely homely hotel. The views are amazing beautiful walks .The staff were friendly and helpful. We hope yo go back for another visit soon.
