Everything was as expected and we enjoyed our stay here. There was a washing machine and washing powder, (no dryer) but our clothes did dry over the next day & night. We loved the remote location, the welcome touch of a complementary bottle of wine , beautiful bathrobes & amenities.

breakfast was fine though included no hot food, just continental The decor was tasteful
Dunvegan Castle and Garden is a must-visit. Very little traffic and easy to get around. Distances are deceiving because of the narrow windy roads - passing places are an experience!
We had a great lunch at The Three Chimneys just outside Duvegan

Wonderful little town with so many gems if you take the time to explore! Check out the Angus McCaskill museum for some quirky entertainment; the School House for a wonderful, hearty meal; Dunvegan Castle for a fantastic history lesson and some great walking paths; Two Churches walk up to the standing stone; and Misty's for a quick bite and some ice cream. Easy-to-walk town with friendly people.

Dunvegan is in a beautiful area of Skye and centrally located with easy access to the Cullins, and Portree. The weather was rainy most of the visit but we still managed to have a wonderful time and see the sights.

Dunvegan is in the North of the island, perfect for visiting Dunvegan castle, the coral beaches, Neist Point light house, carbost and the talisker distillery. Plenty of walks in and around the area. One negative is the state of the roads....beware! Potholes are everywhere

Dunvegan suffering a wee bit like many places from lack of staff making some hotels ,restaurants having to reduce opening hours but dont let that put you off as always somewhere open . It will get better as more tourists arrive ,our trip was very much at the end of a very strange summer season .We have stayed in the area many times and will most certainly return before too long .
We chose Kilmuir Park to spend three days in Skye. It was a wonderful experience. The lodging was convenient for all our day trips around the island. The bedroom and sitting room were comfortable, bathroom well appointed and breakfast delicious. Being the end of the season some local restaurants were closed but the helpful owners gave us suggestions and the meals were excellent. Also appreciated were the views from the lodging and the quiet of the neighborhood (such as it was). We look forward to returning the Kilmuir Park. Daniel and Linda
Lovely traditional property, beautifully presented, in a very quiet village setting on the wonderful Isle of Skye. The hosts Catriona and Ian are friendly and helpful, even tracking us down after we left, to return shoes left in the wardrobe (many thanks😀) There is a very good breakfast to start the day and dogs are welcome. There are local amenities, shop, post office, fuel and restaurants. The drive, to and from the property, is simply stunning with many local points of interest within easy reach. Would definitely stay again.
John was an amazingly kind host, communicating timely ahead of our arrival with highly useful and valuable information. We were thankful for the provided basic supplies, like milk, coffee, orange juice.
The cabins are superbly equipped, lovely and very clean. Harlosh is the perfect spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with quiet, fresh air and stunning views on the bay and its wildlife (seals, birds, etc.). Great starting point to explore the Isle of Skye.
We were made very welcome by Baba and Roger the dog to their home. We were offered a glass of wine on returning from our dinner at the the Old school Restaurant on our first night. We had the shared bathroom to ourselves for our two night stay and we could use the kitchen facilities when we wanted a cup of tea etc. Dunvegan had lots to offer and close to some amazing sites on Skye. Good Fish and Chips at the Misty Café/Res.
Charming, cozy house in Dunvegan just minutes from castle; dinners served are delicious; also two doors down from The Old School restaurant for variety. Incredibly supportive, attentive staff. Clean as a whistle; fun interior with Highland theme. Great lounge for gathering and evening drinks. Jennie and her staff outdo themselves! Oh and make sure to try the local, freshly made yogurt!
An amazing eco stay, we loved our stay and reading about all the amazing details and thought that have gone into creating this eco retreat. Amazing facilities, so well stocked in the kitchens for any kind of cooking you may need to do, beautiful rainforest shower and such an amazing peaceful place to unwind over Easter weekend in the beautiful Isle of Skye.
Excellent location for doing the northern circuit of Isle of Skye. The accommodation is modern, with lots of light and well fitted. Both Nicky and Ian were extremely welcoming, warm, hospitable and helpful. Nicky's homemade vegetarian breakfast was scrumptious. Ian's guidance on various sites to visit was helpful. Would definitely go back.
This was a really fun home in which to stay. The home was decorated in a lovely way. It was clean, open, and had a ton of windows and light. The kitchen was fully equipped. The common areas were spacious. Bathrooms updated and well appointed. We would stay again if ever back in Skye.
This was our favorite place we stayed in Scotland. The cabins are really beautifully done and have a lovely view. They were a bit away from the rest of the crowds and we loved having that little break and our own quiet spot. We would absolutely book these again if we were back on Skye.
Everything was lovely. The location is great for traveling in Skye.
The room and the dining area were very clean and very nice decorated with everything you need.
The breakfast was great and tasty.
Sue provided us lot of information with things to do
The new owners/hosts have taken great time and care in creating an exceptional B&B. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. In addition, we received great advice about places to visit and see and an insiders view of Skye.
Amazing experience and lovely staying. If you're scaping from massive tourism in Portree, this is your place!!! Is well connected with the whole Isle of Skye.
We received an exceptional treatment and attention.
150% recommended
Great location, easy access to the rest of the island from the house. Little outside area for the dog was perfect. Had everything you could need for a stay would definitely recommend and stay again if ever on skye.
Perfect base location for exploring Isle of Skye. It's quiet and calm, which is very nice (in particular, because Isle of Skye is quite busy). Room was perfect and breakfast amazing. A lot of choice and delicious.
Delightful apartment, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. Superb picturesque view across a nearby bay. Conveniently located to access other parts of Skye. Very helpful owner.
We loved being so near the castle, as that was our main reason for being at Dunvegan. The farmhouse is updated and was very comfortable for our families’ stay.
Restaurant and lounge area. High quality of breakfast produce, beautiful dinner menu. Professionalism & courtesy of all staff. Beautifully appointed rooms.
