Restaurant was Pizza and Pasta and closed at 21:00. Pizza was good size and acceptable. Check in was OK. Room was basic but clean.

The hotel location is exemplar and gives one of the most scenic views you could ever experience. Staff were all so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for you We ate at the restaurant and the service and food was superb and again the staff so friendly and helpful with advice on what we could do locally. We had an exceptional stay at Hermitage. The location on the lake, looking out and seeing Pilatus, is superb. The rooms are large, modern and very comfortable, and the common areas (especially the bar area) were a great place for us to relax. There is a bus stop right out the front of the hotel to get you into Lucerne within 15mins, plus on-site parking. Our experience with the staff really made this stay for us though - there were friendly, attentive and we felt very well looked after! We would very happily stay here again!
