I was looking for a place of tranquility for a few days of respite from a hectic work schedule. So decided to book an accommodation at Tilal Liwa Resort. The place is located amidst sand dunes and reflects a Classic Arab architecture designed as a fort. The place is flocked by birds and when one looks out one gets an uninterrupted view of the desert peppered with camel camps.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Cherry checked us in with a big smile and Mohammed ferried our bags to our room.
We really liked the room which looked onto the desert and to interrupt the monotony there was a camel just outside chewing cud.
Our stay of 4 nights was really relaxing, and Hetet and Aslan provided us with exceptional service keeping our rooms clean along with a smile.
We took the half-board option with breakfast and dinner. The buffet was not expansive but at the same time sumptuous with superve culinary skills on display by the staff in the kitchen.
By the way, when you enter the resort, do not miss Tialal and Liwa who are there to greet you. In case you are wondering who I am referring to, then let it be a surprise for you.
Will definitely visit again, especially during the times of camel race or falconry competition or during the dates festival.

Two years ago, I went to the hotel, and I posted a negative review because at that time the hotel was not pet friendly, but now it is. I found the extra charge overpriced for my little dog but, at least I can share with my family, friends and my dog a nice time all together. The whole staff of food and beverage and Cherry at the reception were very helpful, kind and gave us a nice experience. Well done, this is a place to come again.

Indian vegetarian food options are very limited and on higher end. Many guests prefer to go to near by city instead for lunch and dinner. Very peaceful and quiet place. Is one visits in summer, there are limited activities which can be done like swimming and quad bike rides in late afternoon. Good overall ambience and break from city noise.
We enjoyed simple but good vegetarian meals at Taj Empire in city. Pizza Hut and other small food joints are available in city. Catch sun rise which can be enjoyed just behind the resort.
The hotel is beautifully set in the desert. The stay made for such a relaxing, enjoyable weekend. The camel ride was a great experience for my kids, and we loved the freedom riding the dune buggy! Was so much fun really. The pool is beautiful with a perfect view of the desert. The room was also quite comfortable and conveniently located with direct access to the pool. The evening entertainment just added to the experience. The stay exceeded our expectations, and we're looking forward to our return!
I found a big problem last night in this hotel, because this is the second time I booking fee for two years and this time first thing too much high price second in the night ask me the reception how many days you will see I took maybe 2 to 3 days
secondly, I need to go out for finish some work in
government in the morning the reception can you talk with me what are you doing? I need to go I finish work I will come back. Can you talk please turn 12 o’clock there is no more days..
The hotel staff is exceptionally professional and helpful, particularly Cherry and Kareem (reception), who have taken care of our special requests to make our stay even more pleasant.
The pool facing the desert dunes is absolutely amazing. The quad biking in the desert is also a great experience.
Breakfast and dinner are good considering the hotel location in the desert, everything was very fresh.
The major strength of this hotel is its location right at the beginning of desert dunes. Swimming in the pool and gazing at the desert is a great experience. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Both the dinner and the breakfast were very tasty. The availability of small ATVs for a short ride into the nearby desert is also a pleasant benefit.
We booked it for our 7th anniversary. The hotel staff arranged a small cake and decoration which was complimentary. Staffs were quite good. Pool was good. There was a small kids play area. My daughter liked it. We enjoyed the belly dance. The breakfast was really nice. Good ambience. Overall a nice trip.

Hotel has a wide range of activities
Lovely infinity pool
Lush green gardens
Stylish, comfortable rooms
Elegant bathroom with nice amenities
Property has a nice infinity pool and gym - however I didn't use it looked well equipped. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was good.
Hotel suprised us by throwing a big Halloween night with additional entertainment.
It is second time for me in this hotel and I'm not dissapointed.
This is a scam. The hotel is nowhere to be found. The call number for the hotel is Israel. Dear Booking.com how is it possible that I asxlang standing customer cannot trust your offerings anymore. Your due diligence is insufficient.
It has a fascinating Arabic style that’s been preserve in this hotel. It has also a divine view from the hotel where we can see the endless desert. The amenities and activities are really good. Definitely a great weekend getaway.
We stayed in the hotel during week days so luckily the hotel was not crowded. Breakfast and dinner was served as à la carte and we felt as if we had home made food. Staff at spa was excellent, it was worth spending money.
The hotel is super clean and super easy to access. Considering the value for money in comparison with other options in Madinat Zayed and in Liwa in general, it's definitely worth it. The staff were very nice and helpful.
This was a work visit, so we solely used the hotel to eat and sleep. It fit that objective perfectly. The room was fine and the staff were all friendly. The breakfast buffet was reasonably diverse and adequate.
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Madinat Zayed
The hotel not available
does not exist
Even no phone number
I sent complaint in the same time
I want to refund the amount
It’s kind of cheating

There are few hotels near Liwa Dunes and so far, I always prefer to stay in this hotel after Liwa activity considering cost, location and comfortability
