Our host Nick went out of his way to look after us. We were heading for Laos and he gave us a ride to the border crossing (we gave him a small fee) and let us leave our car at his house until we returned. Also gave us a free breakfast which we weren't expecting. This room is a building within his own property so it is very quiet, secure and private.

The owners are always there, keen on a chat, and happy to answer and questions or organise bikes, tuk tuks, activities etc. The boardwalk in front of the guestouse is beautifully placed for a morning or evening stroll. There are plenty of markets, restaurants and bars within walking diatance. By far one of the best places we've stayed in Thailand. We will return next time we're in he area.!
