The female host was exceptional, I told her I wanted to buy some bottle water and she asked if she could give me some for free from her fridge if I didn’t mind. A little kindness goes a long way. Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. The place is very quaint and I loved how each room is themed differently on explorers and nature. Also, loved the fact that we were welcomed to some warm mulled wine( it was freezing outside) Also, the breakfast is amazing !
