The beautiful wood, the onsen bath and the view to the trees. It was beautiful and spacious! Loved having two toilets and two showers too! Had all the amenities to make it a wonderful stay and wish we were tn stay longer! Would LOVE to return again and stay in Autumn!

The opportunity to stay in a Japanese villa, in a great location by Lake Ashi, with a kitchen and plenty of space was amazing. Then, the hot springs shower and tub was super special. It truly was healing to our bodies that were a bit worn out from travel. Yes, stay here! We hope to stay longer next time. It was a little hard to find. Yet, a kind gentleman was watching out for us and directed us.

The villa was amazing with everything you need and more. The place is big and very clean. We really wished we could stay more at this beautiful place. Highly recommend!

【 Nona 九十九里 】 テラスでBBQ 九十九里の一棟貸切宿。 is situated in Kujukuri, 40 km from Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, 40 km from Naritasan Park, as well as 45 km from Makuhari Messe. It's super clean and new (very clean!). It was very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen appliances were complete and beautiful. The entire house was nicely designed. Very open concept layout and spacious. The balcony was outstanding for breakfast on a sunny day. Check in was smooth and parking was spacious.

Super family friendly with all the amenities and white goods, easy to use dining area and a great digital heated fireplace for the cold season. Large porch for family get togethers. Bathroom was spacious and clean too. Carpark space was ample, with a convenience store just a min by car. Will definitely be back again.

Super cozy place, renovated with taste. We were picked up at the station, given a map, brought to the shop where we bought the nikko pass. On the last day the owner drove us the station. Amazing service. We had tea and cake in the house, which was very kind At 15-17min from the station and convenient store by foot

Located in Nikko and only 1.1 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, Guest House Koundo provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Great location, not too close to the major tourist sight to be quiet and chill, but close enough walking distance to feel comfortable. It was a special place since it felt very homey, staying at a private home of the owner, who was very kind and helpful, but also gave you all the privacy you would need to feel cozy. Loved the traditional Japanese experience and felt privileged to have access to that private experience as a tourist. Wonderful places to eat nearby.
