They went above and beyond any expectations. It actually looks more beautiful than the pictures. Spotless and fresh, I really appreciate the efforts they put in the small details like the picnic bag, the umbrellas and the sewing kit. The location is superb just a few steps to the center of Bowness where you can find the cruises center, the bus station and all the shops, cafes and restaurants. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Situated in Grizebeck and only 30 km from World of Beatrix Potter, 2 Malt Kiln Cottages features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The flat was very spacious and had a nice view of an old cottage across the road. Everything was clean with nice modern fixtures and appliances. Although the flat is right on the roadway, we had no road noise. Having off-street parking was a plus. We also liked having two full bathrooms. The kitchen had everything one would need for a short or long stay with a large refrigerator.

Located 18 km from Buttermere, 1 The Croft provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Nice layout and perfect position with the Fiver Cocker flowing next to the rear, a two minutes walk to Sainsbury’s Supermarket and 5 mins walk to town centre. Good car park too

Tranquility No 42 Port Haverigg Marina, a property with a garden and a bar, is located in Millom, 42 km from Lake Windermere, 43 km from Wasdale, as well as 49 km from Scafell Pike. Loved the views and the accommodation was really comfortable with everything you needed for a few days. Bed very comfortable. Ski Bar on site had good meals and lots of drinks choices and the staff were very accommodating. Very dog friendly. Try Riva Gelato just over on the campsite which has lovely ice creams to choose from. Easy to get to lots of different places from where we were. We were unfortunate enough to encounter almost a full day of heavy rain but the accommodation has a good TV with lots of channel choices so we were able to keep entertained when we couldn't get out. Communication with the owners was excellent. We will be visiting again.

Situated within 10 km of Askham Hall and 31 km of Derwentwater Lake in Penrith, Honeysuckle Cottage & Whinfell Studio features accommodation with seating area. Excellent facilities, spotless really lovely comfortable furnishings.

Flosh Cottage Lake District, a property with a garden, is located in Cleator, 23 km from Muncaster Castle, 29 km from Scafell Pike, as well as 29 km from Buttermere. Beautifully appointed, spacious cottage in a wonderful location close to the coast and western Lake District. The beds were very comfortable, bathroom modern, and decor beautifully done. Outdoor patio area for fine days, parking right out the front and washer and dryer for catching up on laundry. Spotlessly clean.

Featuring mountain views, Lake District Log Cabins offers accommodation with balcony, around 29 km from Lake Windermere. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Stayed in the Larch Cabin. Brilliant communication from staff prior and during the stay. Love how much information they provided in regards to using items in the log cabin (such as fire) and the local area (walks, vets, hospital etc). Kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils to make decent meals so you don't need to worry about bringing everything from home like some self catering places. Nice, cosy and really clean. Ideal place for couples looking to get away, really quiet area and not too busy 🙂

Featuring garden views, Rockside - Luxury 1 bedroom home with hot tub, central location, parking and pet friendly provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 1.5 km from World of Beatrix... Came to Windermere for one night for the start of a roadtrip with my partner. This accommodation made our time there really special. Lovely and clean home, with a modern interior impressed us when we walked in. Having the hot tub there was amazing really completed a perfect stay. Bed was super comfortable, I really have nothing bad to say about this stay. Loved every second of it, location was great aswell. Hosts were very easy to contact and were very polite. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Windermere!

Situated in Bowness-on-Windermere, near World of Beatrix Potter, The Den - The White House Windermere is housed in a historic building where guests can enjoy a garden. Amazing location, it's in the prime location of Windermere and the walk is a stones throw. The property is immaculate, so clean and beautifully decorated.. then the hot tub is just a perfect addition. Will definitely be returning at some point 😍 The hosts are on hand to help if needed too with quick replies via text! X
