Skye Stays is set in Staffin. With mountain views, this accommodation features a patio. The holiday home also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. It was perfect. We could have stayed weeks. Breathtaking views, close enough to trails and popular sights but felt secluded. Even our teen daughter enjoyed the space. Well equipped, we lacked for nothing. Owners and their pups were lovely.

Situated in Halistra and only 19 km from Dunvegan Castle, Thomas Telford Lettings - Luxurious Interiors and Seaviews features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The most jaw-dropping place I've ever rented. Huge living room with large comfy couch and 80(?) inch TV for relaxation after long days of walking. Large, well-equipped kitchen. One large bed room and one enormous bed room. Usually large and comfortable beds. All beautifully decorated in a mix of classic and bohemian style. Stein Inn (very nice pub) and Loch Bay (Michelin star restaurant) in walking distance (but a bit of a walk; almost 4 km). The host is very responsive and friendly (not that we had any issues, but we had some questions before arriving).

OMG, this tiny home was amazing. Staying here on Skye was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The view was to die for, we never even considered turning on the TV. We spent the evenings watching the sunsets over the water and mountains. I can't wait to return. Now the specifics.... the home is indeed small, but nicely laid out. The bedroom is up a set of stairs and the firm bed is low to the floor. There are large boxes under the bed for storing clothing, which worked well. We put our luggage in the car. There are a few un-carpeted stairs which can be slippery in stocking feet and no handrail so descend cautiously - we didn't have a problem. The bathroom is interesting with the toilet/sink one one side of the hall and the shower on the other, good use of space. The kitchen in small, but well equipped for cooking. Frazer and Emma even left a wee dram (thank you)! The location is a bit out of the way, about 1/2 hour south of Broadford where you will need to stock up on groceries. The drive is on narrow roads with plenty of sheep to make it interesting. We will definitely stay here again!

The Cabins - House of Juniper, a property with a bar, is set in Broadford, 14 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, 27 km from Eilean Donan Castle, as well as 26 km from Museum of the Isles. Set in Tole and only 30 km from Dunvegan Castle, Oor Neuk offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Amazing, quiet property, conveniently located with beautiful view from balcony. Furnished very comfortably. Kitchen stocked with basic essentials; nice grocery store about 5 to 10 min drive. We were able to prepare a nice dinner. The showers with multiple shower heads were nice. Strong wifi. Would love to come back and stay here again!

Set in Skeabost and only 26 km from Dunvegan Castle, Donmar Cottage offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden views. We loved the house. Everything was perfect, the host, the location, the view, the weather - even the cow visited us this morning. Could not ask for more!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location, just the perfect mix of remote and easily accessible, comfortable beds, and stocked kitchen. Had a cute visit from a frog and a bunny in the front garden

Offering garden views, Armadale Castle Cabins is an accommodation situated in Ardvasar, 48 km from Eilean Donan Castle and less than 1 km from Museum of the Isles. The cabin was charming and fully equipped with everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wines and shortbread provided by our host. It was the perfect place to rest and relax after a long day of hiking and driving. Thank you so much for the warm welcome. We will definitely be back!

Set in Portree and only 36 km from Dunvegan Castle, Adalienes Retreat offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Fantastic place to stay a very short walk from the middle of Portree and the bus station. It's a really quiet place, you can hear footsteps from the shop above but it's only during business hours. I was outside most of the time so it's not really an issue. The place is stocked up wonderfully, I planned on hiking a lot and it was great having a lot of breakfast options already in the fridge. The place generally is super comfortable and well maintained.
