This gite had everything we could have wished for. Very well appointed, generous living space, comfortable bed and a charming host. We stayed for 6 nights, but could have happily stayed for many more.

Very very nice house, it has everything you need and it was clean. The owner is very nice, she only speak french but everything is possible with google.translate :) The garden is almost fully enclosed, except for a little hole on the backside. So if travelling with a dog keep an eye on that, otherwise it was perfect for our dog. The house is located just a short walk from Sarlat, and it is perfectly located in the region. Everything you want to see is just a short drive away. We highly recommend La Maison D'alice :)

Lovely location a short walk from Sarlat, the property was well maintained and the hosts very helpful. The area was quiet and the pool always had free sunbeds. Lots to do and see in the surrounding area.

Great location near to Sarlat. The lodges are very well thought out, well presented and equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. Hot tub was nice and clean, perfect for relaxing in after a day exploring the Dordogne. Hosts were very attentive and helpful. We stayed with our dog, the whole property is very dog friendly, grounds are full enclosed and the two owners dogs are very friendly. We had a great stay and already planning a return visit with friends.

Having our own pool was such a luxury. It was a fabulous size and kept really clean during our two week stay. Laurent was a great host and helped us with anything we asked for (extension lead and Boules set) He was around if needed but we always felt that we had our privacy too. Very comfortable bedroom (completely silent at night) and living room. Kitchen had all the essentials and the shower was powerful. The washing machine was used regularly too. Sarlat centre was around a 1.5 mile walk (5 mins in the car) It was a perfect location to travel to many beautiful villages. Very dog friendly. Made best friends with Appi (Laurent’s gorgeous puppy) who we will miss lots

Fabulous location, Mathilde was a wonderful host who communicates almost instantly and had thought of everything in the house! It is a beautiful, spacious home which was sparkling clean and we absolutely loved our stay there. If you are heading to Sarlat, this is the house for you.

    It was a great property for our family holiday. The property was fully equipped to entertain. On a couple of nights we enjoyed cooking and eating on the terrace or in the garden. The location was quaint but within walking distance from the village centre, with various cafes and restaurants and live street entertainment. I will surely come again.
