The property was situated in a quiet location, a very short drive from the town. We didn't hear any traffic during our stay. The property was clean and well equipped. The temperature was great and Leah was in touch to see if we required anything - she was easy to contact and responsive to messages. The shower was lovely, instant hot water and great water pressure. We loved the subtle Christmas decor too! We'll definitely consider the property for future visits.

Hilltop hideaway is the perfect escape!! Nothing around but the gorgeous scenery and some cows. That's all you need!! The pod it's self is beautiful, perfect for couples, going with a friend or even just yourself. Colleen was a great host. You don't have to bring much with you as she has got you covered. I definitely recommend getting the treat box!!

Offering a garden and mountain view, The Hikers House - Award Winning 5 Star Retreat is located in Newcastle, 21 km from Down Cathedral and 37 km from The Cathedral of Saint Patrick and Saint Colman. The house was gorgeously decorated, with plenty of space around for us and our Labrador pet. It was centrally located but somewhat secluded. It also has a private car space right in front of the house. There was even a bath in the toilet (besides the shower) and there were some bath salts available to use. We will definitively return for a few days in the future.
