Quiet location, but close to the town and to a railway station. The beach is of sand, long and wide with a few people on it. 2. The rooms are very large and well equipped, with fully opened view of the sea. Every tiny detail was well thought; everything you may think of was provided, including indoor closes. And every corner is perfectly cleaned. 3. Polite, friendly and quickly responsive staff. 4. Interesting and reach, mainly Japanese, kitchen. Overall, I was surprised to get this exceptionally good service and conditions for the relatively small money I paid. This hotel unlikely is for those who likes entertainment, noisy bars and disco. Just for relaxing in Paradise!

Situated just less than 1 km from Nishinohama Beach, Yoyokaku provides accommodation in Karatsu with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a housekeeping service. The meals were all exceptional. We really enjoyed the food. The service was also excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and garden were beautiful.

I had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel. The entire experience was beyond my expectations. The views were breathtaking—truly something out of a dream. The private onsen (hot spring) was incredible and so soothing, offering a level of peace and luxury I’ll never forget. The bathroom alone was to die for—elegant, spacious, and beautifully designed. Every detail of my stay was perfect and relaxing. I treated myself to this getaway as a personal gift, and I’m so grateful I did. Being able to experience such a serene and stunning place filled me with joy and deep appreciation. This was one of the most memorable and rejuvenating experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape. Thank you for making my stay so special!

Situated in Saga, Tsukasa Ryokan features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. Very clean. Good service. Cosy public bath..they had private bath which needed reservations.. Meals were very good.....location is beautiful. In the middle of the mountains....

Attractively set in the Taratatezaki Onsen district of Tara, Ichifukuso is situated 49 km from Peace Park, 50 km from Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum and 49 km from Urakami Cathedral. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and clean with everything we needed. The onsen bath was really unique, worth the trip :) The island and harbour are very charming and most importantly of all, Emi-san was an incredibly nice host who went out of her way to help us - thank you so much Emi-san, we won’t forget our stay !

Urari Takeo Garden Terrace Spa Resorts offers a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 48 km of Yoshinogari Historical Park and 37 km of Huis Ten Bosch. Very attentive staff. Contemporary Ryokan esthetic. Huge rooms with lots of amenities. Nice Onsen. Nice complementary lounge. Excellent dinner and service. Had an early departure before breakfast- they packed a Bento Box for me to eat on the train. Facilities and service exceeded my expectations.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Mizuno Ryokan is set in Karatsu, 200 metres from Nishinohama Beach and 47 km from Fukuoka Yahuoku! Dome. It was a perfectly manicured property and every room offered a breathtaking ocean view. Their kaiseki dinner was delicious and their service was to die for. We told them that we’re celebrating our husbands’ big birthday there and we’re what they’d come up with. They offered them a lovely birthday cake with traditional Japanese celebration attire for them to try on! We loved their care and wonderful hospitality.

Located in the famous Furuyu Hot Spring area of Saga Prefecture, Furuyu Onsen Oncri features a mixture of traditional and modern architectural design. A lot of indoir and outdoor hot springs to enjoy. Near to the onsen village, which is good for a leisure stroll. Food in the hotel was good, and the staff were very attentive.

Riverside Hotel Karatsu Castle offers accommodation in Karatsu. Rooms are furnished with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an air cleaner/humidifier. First, this place is really great and an incredible bargain. It is located on the edge of the old castle grounds, only minutes walking to Karatsu Castle. The views of the river from the room and of the castle during breakfast are fabulous. The comfortable futons and quiet comforters were great. Our twin room had a small attached bathtub and toilet but we used the wonderful private ofuro each evening. We stayed in room 201, next to the wide staircase, above the ofuro bath. This room is the most protected from the sounds of road traffic but the din of road noise is still there some. I am a light sleeper and my wife and I slept great here! If you like Japanese style breakfasts then you will love it here. We walked through the nice pine forest down to the beach, as well as thoroughly exploring the castle. We had a great lunch at DonDonTei, down the street from Riverside. The value of where this inn is located and the quality of your stay are first class, in our book. After a month in Japan, this 2 night stay was truly one of our highlights!
