Due to the sewer smell sucked in by the automatic extractor fan, ventilation had to be done almost constantly.

Clean, very well equipped apartment, everything is new, the beds are comfortable, the wifi works well. Everything is available for cooking. The apartment is next to the Bolhao market, close to the sights. Upon our arrival, there were cookies and port wine waiting for us, the check-in was smooth because we received a message and a video with all the important information in advance.

Very pretty apartment. It has everything you might need, it’s very complete. Very comfortable rooms. They left some Porto and a dessert for our arrival and it was just lovely to be welcomed that way.

The apartment was beautiful. Well Maintained. The hosts are amazing and very helpful. The apartment had everything one needs. Close to a grocery store and the famous Mercado de Bolhão. Very safe and secure. Highly recommend.

We like the facilities and location and the apartment is furnished beautifully. We walked everywhere. Shopping, restaurants and cafes are all only a block or two away. mmm… it’s a two single beds instead of one double bed. But it’s very normal in Europe.

My stay was incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The residence itself was perfect—clean, well-maintained, and so conveniently located. It really felt like a home away from home. Someday when I return to Porto ,I certainly stay at Bolhao Residences. Highly recommend to everyone!

Nothing! Everything was wonderful.

The property is beautiful and definitely comfortable. There was a pastry and port wine to welcome the guests. The property is located a few steps away from restaurants & shopping. Bolhao market is just around the corner. Most of all when we had trouble with opening the door, the host immediately came over (even if it was past midnight!) to personally help! Exceptional service! Would definitely book again when in Porto.

clothes were not that dry after completing the standard wash and dry cycle in the inhouse washer+dryer. While there was a ventilator inside the bathroom, it was turned on in pre-determined time slots (3 times daily). It'd be ideal if it could be switched on/off manually similar to light switches.

Very friendly and compassionate host who has advised steps in great detail to access the apmt a few days in advance of our checkin. Apart from the pre-printed info (and in pdf online) for sightseeing/restaurants/cafes, they were on site to explain usage of appliances, sightseeing advice etc. Apart from comfy bed and pillows, the large sofa in the living room was also comfy. Host has also prepared a large and delicious bread and port wine for our consumption. This apmt is highly recommended.

Everything was perfect. Our host Teresa Távora, made our stay at beautiful apartment Byobu, even more pleasant with her friendly care and warm welcome. Personal touch and homely feel makes Byobu apartments truly unique. Bottle of Porto and local Pao de Deus as welcome gift , couldn’t be more appreciated after long trip . Thank you Teresa !

Everything was absolutely perfect - 120%. The hostess even waited for us with a treat upon arrival. They went out of their way to accommodate us during our two-week visit. One of the best accommodations we have ever visited.

Nothing everything was perfect

Lady greeted us on arrival and had left us some port and beautiful cake We also got flowers for Mothers day which was very thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble and would stay here again and recommend this apartment to anyone. Location was great and was spotlessly clean.Had everything you need for your stay.

- Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike. Everything was great. One comment would be that it's not an apartment-hotel; so don't expect anyone to come clean your apartment. You had to bring out your own trash and recycling by the gate house, but this was no problem and extra bags were provided to us. - Oh and the safe in the closet to store valuables did not work. The key was missing and you can't reset the code without it?

- Host was fantastic! She setup a WhatsApp chat with detailed instructions on how to enter the property, but also greeted us at the door. She provided us with complimentary port wine and sweet bread (yum yum!). - We traveled with our baby and she provided us with a high chair, toys, playard crib, and a baby bath tub. Incredibly helpful and convenient. - Location was central, right next to a main shopping street, many supermarkets, and places to eat. - Laundry and drying machine in one! - Used the kitchen facilities quite a bit. - Netflix on TV! - Clean space, nice decor, the layout of the space worked for us and it felt very welcoming and at home. - There was a tiny lift to get into the apartment.

Excellent host with perfect communication prior to our stay. The apartment was comfortable and well furnished. I appreciated the super-fast induction hob in particular. There was a secure place to store our luggage on arrival and departure. It was so nice to be allowed to check in early as it was so hot outside. I appreciated the extra effort to make this happen. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and had everything we (a family of three) needed for almost two weeks' holiday. The location was also prime since the apartment is in the centre next to the big shopping street and in a close walking distance to almost everything. The staff was also super nice and helped us out by preparing the apartment for our 3 year old daughter, e.g, setting up a small bed and a full box of toys that came in handy. Also, if you needed anything, the staff would help. They called taxis for us, offered a cleen mid trip, etc. We highly recommend staying at the Byobu Apartments! 🫶

everything was perfect. staff was very helpful and nice. it’s located nearby the central street but not on the noisy side, so it was very comfortable and not so noisy. would definitely recommend is you want to spend some time in Porto

Bolhão Residences is located at Porto's city center, very close to tourist attractions, it's defenitly not easy to find a better one like this. Well decorated and silent rooms, comfortable beds, all facilities and equipements are prepared ready, the friendly host treated delicious snacks for tired travelers. I booked the apartment at the last minute, Teresa helped me a lot to arrive her cozy and warm flat from the airport. I will higly recommend this apartment to friends and come back here when I am going to visit Porto next time.

The fan comes on intermittently and pumps a smell of damp and fusty air into flat so we left the window open as much as possible. The beds as advertised are singles and although pushed together move apart.

Flat was very good, location was excellent, host great and very responsive. Host left a platter of food for first days arrival and tea and coffee which was much appreciated.
