We really liked the flat, spacious and with all the facilities needed. The location was also excellent. Loved the fact that it's in the old Jewish neighbourhood.

Very cosy and spacious flat, all equipped. Very central in Ortigia, yet super quiet and peaceful which we appreciated a lot. Last but not least, Fabio’s availability and his restaurants’ suggestions that were delicious.

Three things.. The online registration system was painful; the drop-down menu options did not recognize (and therefore accept) a Canadian passport; it took over an hour to complete, but the staff were helpful when we were frustrated. The entrance hall and stairs should be on motion detector lights because the switches are very difficult to find in the dark. The washer/dryer were excellent but they are not in 'your private kitchen' as represented on the website; they are located on the ground floor common entrance hall. This was not a problem for us because in February not all of the units were full. But in the summer it might not be so easy to use.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed and linens were great.

Exceptional property. Beautifully decorated, comfy bed and high quality bedding. Location is perfect, quiet tiny street away from bars guaranteeing you good night sleep, but close to everything to get your morning coffee within minutes. The host is super friendly and welcoming. Apartment offers everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Although the kitchen was of ample space and had a cooktop, there weren't any utensils to prepare any meals. I would not recommend for a long stay as you really couldn't prepare any proper meals there.

This was a beautiful little flat in the quieter side of Ortigia (which was lovely). Everything was in pristine condition and decorated to a high standard.

There were bed bugs and Fabio handled it incredibly poorly. He was defensive and argued and wouldn’t let me shorten my stay or let me talk to the properly manager or the owner. Every step of the way was a challenge with him. It looked like at some point after I kept insisting to speak with management and to show them the photos of our bites, management may have agreed to refund some money as my bank mentioned that they were refunding some money. Couple days later the pending disappeared as it must have been reversed. I don’t know what happened. In any case, no one contacted me and he never changed the mattress cover and he argued with me about changing the bedding cover. He would only change the sheets. He argued it is probably be mosquitoes. There were no mosquitoes and I told him they couldn’t have gotten underneath my underwear and under my armpit. He then accused me of bringing them as “it’s impossible his apartment could have bed bugs.” It was very stressful as I couldn’t sleep and had to argue with him. Every other seat in Sicily and Rome for the past 3 weeks weee fantastic, respectful and very kind. Btw, I hate leaving bad reviews as I don’t want to hurt businesses and I don’t wa as nt him to lose his job but he needs to be properly trained and I really should have been released and refunded. If they are a decent business, they should remedy the aggravation and stress it caused me and my friend. I lost hours arguing with him.

The actual apartment was nice and modern.
