There was nothing not to like

The property was very centrally located. Spacious apt, and very comfortable. It had everything you would need. Fabio was an excellent host. He was so thorough, and he checked in to see if we needed anything. Gave us a list of restaurants. Arranged taxi’s for us. Any questions we had were answered promptly. It truly was a great place to stay.

Absolutely class apartment, nothing we did not like.

Spacious, central location in the heart of ortigia, clean, modern, and equiped with all the amenities in the apartment. Fabio is an excellent host, giving great advice and going that extra mile for us, we very much appreciate his hospitality, and we will be back someday. We will highly recommend staying here to our friends and family.

Very narrow staircase to get suitcases up to the room. Little natural light as only 2 very small windows. Lots of keys/locks required to get in and out.

Great location, clean apartment, Fabio was a super helpful host, rooftop terrace was nice to have a drink the afternoon.

Central location , with easy access to local attractions . It felt very safe & was a modern well designed apartment, with lots of amenities. It was very peaceful overnight too .

There was nothing that we did not like. Any issues we had were due to contextualisation of the language. The Sicilian people, that we interacted with were both honest and kind and went out of their way to make our visit amazing. In my experience, travelling with an allergy to both gluten and dairy products is a nightmare, but in Ortigia it was made easy.

Ortigia was a great area in Siracusa to centre our stay. The area was a perfect in all directions for resturants, shopping, supermarket produce and wandering through the laneways exploring the area. The apartment was well appointed, clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a well secure and quiet area.

Possible negatives (to make this a fair review) - Although we didn't have any problems with this, I feel like some people may want to know before booking. If you're a light sleeper, the bed is comfy but does creek a bit of you toss and turn during the night. But that's it.

If you're aimlessly looking through accommodation in ortigia, this is the review for you. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. The place - We honestly didn't have any expectations before coming but this place blew our minds. The high ceilings, the marble floors, the natural light, the balconies.. everything is perfect. It feels extremely well maintained with a high end feel. It's spacious and comfortable for two people. The apartment is well-secured with two front gates and located in a safe area. It has all the amenities you need, coffee machine, washing machine and even laundry detergent! The host - Fabio has been one of the best hosts I've experienced. Always available to provide help and instructions. He was more than happy to provide recommendations and book taxis for us during our stay. Self check in was a breeze using his instructions and he was always on hand to clear up any extra details. You can tell he takes extra care maintaining this property as everything was replenish and sanitised when we walked in, just as you would find in a hotel. Ortigia - This place is stunning. Very clean, feels safe, great vibe, amazing architecture and overall feel. This ticked all the boxes and so many more, possibly our favourite place to visit! I just want to thank Fabio again for such a fulfilling experience, we were both so grateful and blessed to know we found our way to your accommodation in such a lovely place on earth.

We loved the location and the apartment was gorgeous with everything we needed. Our host was great with communication and instructions on how to enter the property. Located in the Old Town was a short walk to the beaches, restaurants and sights.

Outstanding property in a fantastic location. Fabio was a very gracious,professional and helpful host. Beautiful little design features in every room ; a real contrast between the historical building and the luxurious,modern interior design. Ortigia is beautiful and Casa Fab is the ideal place to stay .

As other reviews have mentioned, check the details of your apartment. The bedroom had only a starlight, not a window. This was good for soundproofing but not so good for ventilation. Leaving it open at night had an inquisitive cat demanding attention.

It is hard to imagine better service and interaction. Fabio truelly is a hospitality star. He also went far above and beyond on numerous occasions to accomadate us. Location was perfect.

What an amazing place to stay with the very, very best host. The location was perfect. The apartment was very spacious and beautifully presented with many extras. A laundry and condiments in the cupboard were a bonus. Fresh air as well as air conditioning and a lovely outlook were great. Fabio couldn’t do enough for us. He kept in touch throughout our stay with guidance and helpful suggestions. His guided tour when we arrived was fabulous, he booked cabs and checked that they had arrived! There were numerous contacts during our stay to check that all was ok and offers of help. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thankyou Fabio 😃😃

The apartment, Marble, that we stayed in is large, very clean and stylishly decorated with a balcony that has an opening view on a church . The property is fully equipped and has all necessary facilities including an access to a laundry room. It has a perfect location in Ortiga to walk to many restaurants, bars, shops and sightseeing. It’s 3 min walk to Fontana Di Diana which is an amazing spot to have a couple of drinks in the evening. Fabio is a superb host. He assisted us with all our requests, gave great recommendations for restaurants and helped to arrange a transfer. It was an enjoyable stay and an exceptional place.

Very very minor but a bit of bench space would have been good. We couldn’t really fault the apartment though.

Fabulous balcony overlooking the street. Quite large apartment in a great position. General store opposite. No. 106 bus stop outside, passing every half hour for the station. 10 min walk to rocky beach. Quiet. Fabio was a very charming and helpful host.

It was all good.

A central location in the old town Ortigia. This well maintained first floor (a few flights of stairs therefore) apartment has high ceilings giving it a more spacious feel. We had the ‘Marble’ suite which was a corner room with (small) balconies on two streets. The bathroom is modern with the shower having good pressure and good hot water. Easy good communication with the owner. For those who like security there are two gates and two separate locked doors to navigate (simple stuff). There is a bus stop opposite for the little local Ortigia bus 106 (only 1.2 to 1.5 E per ride or per 90min time slot). There is a nice wine bar EVOE nearly opposite with very friendly host.

Our host Fabio was most helpful right from the start. He gave us wonderful recommendations for food and activities, and helped us arrange for taxis to and from the accommodation. Our apartment, the Sandstone apartment, was beautifully designed and the sunlight streaming in through the patio windows was just dreamy. It was really relaxing being able to take a vacation in a gorgeous place like Siracusa and stay in Casa Fab with its thoughtful design elements and spacious bright optics. The location is wonderful - brilliant bar right below the apartment and the coast a few minutes on foot. Friendly grocer across the apartment and refreshing granita two lanes down. And a charming small restaurant staffed by an energetic team down the road. I’d completely stay at Casa Fab again the next time I visit Siracusa.

The location was amazing and the apartment was beautiful. I loved the balcony and would drink my coffee or have a glass of wine and just watch people go by. The neighborhood is quiet but with restaurants super close, 5 min walk to the water, to lively district, and to Duomo. We had the best time and Fabio was so responsive and helpful. Just book this apartment!

The apartment is very nice, big, modern with everything you need. The location is perfect and walking distance to many restaurants and different attractions. Fabio is a great host, he was very responsive to all our needs, recommended us good restaurants, arranged the transfer to the airport and the most appreciated was the late check out. We had a great stay and we definitely book the same place if we return. Choose this place and you won’t regret!
