There is a flight of stairs into the apartment however the host carried our luggage for us on arrival and departure so it was not an issue.

The host Salvo met us at the bus terminal took us to the apartment and carried our luggage for us. The apartment is spacious with all amenities and a view of the water. Close to everything. Highly recommend

Mareluna has been my favourite accommodation in our trip so far!!! It’s in a fantastic location (very close to where you can swim in the sea). It is very easy to stay here - lots of room, cool, quiet and very comfortable. We didn’t come across anyone else in the building. The washing machine was easy to use, showers were good and it’s a very easy place to base yourself! I really loved the sea view from the kitchen window!!! The host, Salvo is very kind and even came to pick us up from the train station and also gave us lots of information. Much appreciated!! Highly recommended!!! Thank you!

When we stayed it was during a hot spell which made most areas of the house sweltering. The two bedrooms stayed cool though!

Location and host were wonderful! AC in both bedrooms made for comfortable sleeping. Parking near the apartment worked well!

The living room, which was very unique and spaceous room, did not have an air conditioner or any type of cooling system, so we could not enjoy it.

Great location - nearby the see and the main attractions, and very comfortable and clean apartment. The design was local architecture and it had all the needed ameneties. Salvo was a great host, met us on the arrival and gave us clear instructions.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The house was spacious, clean and catered to all of our needs. You could see the sea from the kitchen. The shower was spacious with good water pressure. The towels were large, colored which made it easy to identify, they provided face washers. The bedding was comfortable. The lounge was huge and excellent for a large family. The location was great close to the sea and swimming spots and close to shopping and main centre. Washing machine and cooking facilities were easy to use.

We liked everything but there are two flights of stairs up and a fairly compact shower cubicle which some with mobility issues may find difficult.

Salvo’s property is located on a quieter part of Ortigia, yet close to excellent restaurants and cafes. The apartment is large, well equipped and very clean. Salvo himself is an amazing and kind host.

We had a great time staying at Mareluna. It was clean and centrally located. Our host, Salvatore was very quick to help us with anything we needed.

We went in early April when the temperature is pretty nice. There are heaters/air-conditioners in the 2 bedrooms, but we did not notice any heater/air-conditioner in the living/kitchen areas.

Very close to the shore. Long lazy walks along the coast. Wake up early to watch the sun rise from the horizon. Beautiful tiled floors.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We had a car, and the host met us and used their car to save us a parking spot nearby - so nice! The apartment was great. We even did a load in the clothes washer, and it worked perfectly.

It was not a problem for us but there are quite a lot of steps to get to the top where the apartment is. For us, it was good exercise and part of its charm.

Very spacious and supremely comfortable apartment within Ortigia - the beds are excellent. It’s easy walking distance to all the marvelous sites. Salvo is a wonderful host - very kind and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay here!

With all the comforts of home this apartment really added to our enjoyable stay in Siracusa. Our host Salvo went out of his way pick us up at night from the bus when we arrived, and deliver us to the train station on departure. He even helped with our luggage up the apartment stairs. Located in beautiful Ortigia it was an easy walk to the ocean, the main street, shops and historical attractions. Beds were comfortable and shower great. This was the perfect base for 3 days exploring the region.

Salvatore is a great host and this is a very comfortable and convenient apartment. We very much appreciated Salvatore’s warm welcome and particularly his help with parking upon arrival. The apartment has everything you need for a home away from home and is surprisingly quiet and spacious.

Wish there had been a small outdoor Space to sit on!!

The location was great. Every detail had been thought of including a freezer pack and thermal bag for a picnic!! It was very comfortable and relaxing to be there. Hosts were wonderful and the apartment had all essentials and then some!

A very spacious and well equipped apartment. The location was superb in the heart of the old part of the town within easy reach of all the major sites. The host, Salvo, was very welcoming, meeting us at the property and providing all the information needed. He also offered to take us the railway station on the day we left which was very much appreciated. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything. Great location in the old town but in a quiet location. Our host Salvo was great, he found parking for us in an extremely busy time. He helped with our luggage and was extremely patient waiting for us. The apartment was fantastic and really big. It was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, good wifi and a washing machine..

Careful there are stairs up to the apartment but two floors only. I’ve got a new knee and managed them well.

The apartment is huge with very comfortable bedrooms and beds, living room and kitchen. We particularly liked the location on Ortigia Syracuse which is just gorgeous with all the main tourist sites, restaurants, shops and market nearby so was wonderful to explore. The owner also picked us up from the train station which was very much appreciated.
