The property was clean and cosy, we had plenty of cutlery, dishes and everything needed for cooking! There are plenty of parking space outside of the property! The host was friendly! The town is amazing, many pizzerias, restaurants, the best gellateria in the entire Sicily! The beach is 10 min walk, very cosy. The host sent us many recommendations to visit, which was nice of him! We used those recommendations. We stayed in 5 diffrent towns on the island and I can say that Ballestrate was the best place to stay! The apartment has a nice vintage design, which is authentically amazing!

Nothing really

The property has two air conditioning unit which we found to be more than sufficient to stay cool during our visit in August. Quite location, but very close to not busy and nice beach. Local baker, fruit shop, fishery and butcher all within 5 min walk. We have tried most of the recommendations of our host Nino and they were excellent. Nino is very prompt, kind and caring gentleman. From Balestrate it is convenient to explore Palermo, Minreale on one side and Erice, Trapani and Spiaggia San Vito lo Capo on the other.

The apartment is located near the sea, but not exactly with an easy access to the beach. You need to cross the railway...

Everything was ok. Nino Is a perfect host, answered all my questions, gave tips on Sicily, he was ready to let us check in ahead of time (it was raining all day !).He even let me use my weak Italian, instead of English, so that I could practise it. Nino recommended a fantastic gelateria with delicious gelati. There are also a few nic pizzerias within walking distance. The apartment was ok, nice furniture, kitchen equipment was basic, but enough, the oven looked new, the bathroom quite spacious, a bit old sofa in the living room, but the chairs were comfortable. If you need a quiet place for your stay - go there!!!

Nino realy did a great job hosting us. He prepared detailed list with local tips about restaurants, attractions, surroundings ... He even helped us with our delayed luggage. Would definitely stay here if in Sicilly again.

Everything was wonderful! It was all necessary for a comfortable stay: umbrellas for the beach, drinking water, good sea and few people on the beach. Would come here again!

Very nice place, close to train station and just 5 minutes from sandy beach. The host was very nice, always reply to our questions and requests. Apartment was very clean and nice and big with beautiful sea view. You can even borrow umbella for beach. The equipment of kitchen was fantastic, we even find a measure cup there :) There was not train at time of our arrival, so I would recommend to rent a car, as there are so many beautiful things to see not far from here :)

Nino was a really welcoming and nice host, we stayed here with a baby and everything was well prepared - the apartment had been heated before, crib, high chair, even the outlets were secured. He gave us plenty of recommendations on what to do and eat in the area and even shared some citrus fruits with us! Really nice stay!

I appreciated the quick self check after a long day traveling. The apartment is beautifully furnished, the kitchen is well equipped incuding tea, coffee and mocha kettle. Nino, the owner, sent us local tips about restaurants, beaches, bakery etc. Parking was free and easy on the street.

All was perfect

The apartments complex is buitiful and well equipped. Quiet place, few minutes walking from sea and center restaurants. A good location between palermo at north and trapani-erice-san vito lo capo at south. Owner is charming and respondes fast. Lot's of info about where to eat and what to see. Pity we didn't had time to stay more..

The only little "mistake" was a strange humming sound from some machine or whatsoever. But Sicily is not a quiet island. Nowhere. ;-) Apart from that, the house is in a quiet neighbourhood.

These little Sicilian trains in front of the window are seldom to be seen and heard. But behind the tracks is the Mediterrenean Sea, so we had the great view on the Golfo de Castellammare. The house and the rooms are spacious and well furnitured. A modern kitchen (which we just used for making breakfast) provides all the amenities it takes. Communication with our host Nino was always friendly and quick.
