Everything about the place is superb. The only thing to bear in mind is that it's a 20 minute walk to the main square, which was tricky with young children, so it helped that we had a hire car.

La Scibina is a tranquil oasis with beautiful Mediterranean gardens and a fantastic pool area. The apartment was incredibly spacious and comfortable with 3 huge terraces overlooking the pool and sea. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A special mention for Flavio who went above and beyond to help make the most of our stay.

The shower could be improved

Set amongst beautiful gardens with a lovely big pool. The apartments are a good size (travelled as a family of 3). A lovely homemade cake welcomed us in our arrival. The breakfast options were plentiful and varied. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort is around a 20 minute walk down onto Marina Di Ragusa promenade.

The property was in a lovely quiet location and the rooms were spacious well appointed . Anna and her staff made our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely homemade cakes etc for breakfast.

Everything was great!

The breakfast was excellent and they changed a few dishes every day. Pool was perfect and bonus with the playground for the kids. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with tips and ideas and also flexible with check out etc. Valentina and her staff made our stay truly memorable!

Beautiful property with large room and safe secure parking. The breakfast was delicious. There was a playground for children and beautiful pool. The location was walking distance from promenade and restaurants.

There is nothing not to like. The staff are very courteous, the room we stayed in was lovely and the proprietor is a lovely lady who gave us her personal attention.

The breakfast is superb. The staff always prepare something different every morning. They have lovely homemade biscuits and cakes. A lovely way to start your day.

If that would be possible, I'll definitely give 20, not only 10! Absolutely amazing stay in LA SCiBINA! We are travelling all over the world but this hotel was absolutnie exceptional!! Firstly: The hotel is so cosy and clean, rooms are so spacious, clean , fully equipped glasses, cutlery ect, mini products are in toilets, they smell so nice too. Secondly, beautiful italian style garden, nice swimming pool. Thirdly, absolutely wonderful staff, so so so friendly, absolutely professional, and ready to help with absolutely everything! Big thank you to director Anna and for Mateo and Flavio. Lady's from breakfast are so sweet and really happy to help you. Never in my life I have seen that staff are explain you all traditional products what they serve in breakfast. We spent an absolutely unforgettable wedding anniversary in La Scibina - thank you ALL for that!!

The hotel was exquisitely equipped and furnished. It’s in a converted almond factory and was tastefully and lovingly decorated. I had miscalculated nights so we had no place to stay one night and the staff could not have been more kind and helpful, particularly Valentina. I was so grateful. Breakfasts were lovely and ample and explained to us in a way that showed us how proud the staff were of their amazing Sicilian cuisine. The staff gave us great recommendations for restaurants too.

We didn't get the rooms we expected as there was some confusion with the booking, but we can't fault the way the staff sorted this out, and the rooms we had were lovely. The walk into the town centre is a bit long, and we wouldn't do it at night.

The place is beautiful, clean and peaceful, and we really enjoyed our stay there. The pool area is lovely. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very attentive. It's also very close to the beach.

Only minor things. The kitchen could be a bit better equipped. A toaster would have been nice but generally it was fine.

The staff where very helpfull and polite. The breakfast was also very enjoyable with different sicilian specialities every day. The pool area is just amazing. La Scibina is a small place with 6-7 appartments so its very quite and relaxing compared to large chaotic hotels. The garden is beautiful with large olive trees and other green vegetation. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we had booked a longer stay... Its a 10-15 min walk to the beach in Marina di Ragusa which is also excellent. Here you can use the public beach and bring your own umbrella og you can use one of the beach clubs where you can rent chairs and umbrelle for between 15 and 35 euros.. The beach is also excellent. Plenty of nice restaurants as well.

It is a decent walk into town and there are no taxis around, so if the weather was bad it would be hard to go into town for a meal. But you can have breakfast and lunch at the resort, and it is lovely and relaxing.

The grounds, the facilities, the attentive staff, the food, everything! The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. It was as though we were staying with family and nothing was too much trouble.

Relaxed atmosphere created by management and staff. Were given opportunity to check out at our leisure ( as the room was not occupied later that day) and as we were catching the ferry back to Malta this was a welcome surprise.

There was confusion over the number of persons checking in 2 Adults and 2 children under 5. we booked via Priceline/Bookings.com The app/website did not include the children, and your bookings rep was very rude to the hotel when they asked to check for the error. We resovled everything oursleves and had a lovely stay.

Pool was fantastic and the home made breakfast where delicious.

The staff are super friendly and will do anything to may your stay enjoyable. The room was fantastic, very clean, very spacious and had everything you need - also great view from the top balcony !! The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and to restaurants, or if you want to venture out further, its not too far from some beautiful places such as Scicli, Ragusa, Modica etc. We stayed here 7 years ago and loved it, we came back and it lived up to our high expectations, we will definitely come back again !!

Splendid Family Location for a holiday. The accommodation and facilities were spot on. The kids had a blast in the pool and its surrounding (they had lots of pool toys to play with). The staff was excellent and made us feel really welcome and the manager was willing to accommodate any special request we had at the time. Our room was very spacious and from our balcony we had a superb view! Every part of the villa was really clean!
