No lift but that is fairly common and definitely not a deal breaker for the great standard of the apartment.

Very clean and spacious. Great location. Host was very helpful and communicative. Had the best Aperol Spritz in Sicily made by Sandra in the restaurant downstairs.

this appartment has unique checkin times, will not accept you between 16:00 and 19:00 had to change or plans because of this it was hard to communicate with onwers we send messeges and had to contact booking to get response you have to carry suitcases few floors above ground, no elevator so be prepared if you have luggage

Apartment itself was nice but stairway and halls were not. No light inside so had to use lights on our phones at night. A lot of steps difficult to do with luggage.

No elevator. Apartment is on the second floor which is actually 3 rd from the ground level.

Location is perfect. In the very historic center. The apartment is immaculately designed and very clean. The only problem could be for someone with big luggage and difficulty making stairs. It is on the second floor with no elevator. Otherwise it is perfect.

Bright, full of windows, spacious, great decoration. Very comfortable beds! It was a complete apartment right in the best location! We had a late arrival and Marcella was able to accommodate us perfectly. She even helped us to order dinner so we could eat before going to bed. Thank you Marcella! Beautiful restaurant downstairs.

If we had known how difficult it was to park we would have parked out of town and taken a taxi in to the location.

The location is very central - which is great for getting around, but has its own penalty in that parking is impossible. (Incidentally, when we booked the listing definitely said "parking" but no such facility was available. But the apartment is excellent - clean and spacious.

Since it is very central, the noise from the streets and the restaurant which is right under the apartment goes all night long.

It was our second stay in this apartment because it is simply beautiful and breath taking. It is very clean and spacious and in the heart of Catania. I like the white walls and the ceilings with ornaments and beautiful pictures and paintings in it. The bathroom is also very nice and modern. There are two balconies so we have two different views. If we go to Catania again, we will choose this apartment again despite the noise from the street.

Parking a car is a nightmare.

Location was perfect. Apartment was nicely designed with a great view over the streets. Funny that downstairs was a total wreck and upstairs a lovely apartment.

The owners were so welcoming and kind! The apartment was perfectly clean, newly furnished and modern. It had all of the amenities along with toiletries, definitely worth the price! The view from the terrace is amazing, and the restaurant downstairs has great and delicious food. 10/10

The buliding of the apartment is very old and dirty in total contrast to the the very clean and modern of the apartment. The bolier in the apartment should be bigger to accumulate 4 people family.

Nothing Would recommend a large clothes Airer to allow visitors to dry clothes after washing in the very good washing machine provided in the room otherwise perfect

There is not even one insignificant thing to mention.

First of all, the most friendly owner welcomes you with a glass of prosecco and leads you towards the apartment. Everything is super clean and comfortable. An apartment like this at such a location is wonderful.

Our only criticism (and it is a very minor critique) is that the bathroom had no shelving for your toiletries and the bed could have been a bit more comfortable but still fine. A mattress topper would do the trick.

First of all, I don't think you could ask for a better location in Catania. The apartment is close to EVERYTHING worth seeing in the city and within walking distance of it all. And the apartment itself is immaculate. The furniture and fixtures are all on the newer side and the decorating is done in an urban, modern vibe that totally juxtaposes with the baroque architecture of the building and surrounding city. The apartment is on the third floor over one of the owner's restaurants, which turns out to be considered one of Catania's finest restaurants for seafood. We were give that intel independently from two locals and when we ate there, it did not disappoint. One of best meals we had in Italy on this trip was at the Osteria Il Bell' Antonio. The pizzeria across the way is also owned by the host and was filled nightly with locals. The pizza there was delicious and the staff at both restaurants are amazing. Yes, it's a bit noisy with people talking and laughing and traffic but so what; it's cool. We slept with the balcony doors open and let the sounds and smells of Catania permeate throughout the place. That's why we opted for this type of accommodation versus a hotel in the first place. If you like it quiet, you can always close the balcony doors and draw the drapes and you will be fine. Roberto and Sandra, our hosts, were attentive and gracious and simply let us live like the locals do. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and we said our good byes with hugs. It truly was a memorable experience.

Automatic lighting in the communal hallway would be a bonus but don’t be put off by first impressions of the communal area it’s just typical of the city, the apartment is wonderful.

Location was very central and characteristic of Catania. The interior of the apartment has been beautifully designed in sympathy with the stunning old features. There are numerous excellent cafes and restaurants on the doorstep together with many extremely interesting sites to visit.
