Unbelievable unobstructed views in a perfect location. Giuseppe and Simone were excellent hosts and were able to assist with whatever we needed. Rooms were amazing - clean, modern and extremely comfortable. The associated lido was also fantastic. We arrived by car - the associated parking lot is a bit of a walk. Less of an issue and more a consideration if not traveling light!

10/10 stars! The location is perfect, the hotel is stunningly beautiful and the views... oh the views!!! From my room, l have a breathtaking view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the breakfast patio is perfect spot to star the day with the gorgeous view of the sea

Perched at the end of the main square, it sits right on the clifftops, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean — especially from the breakfast terrace. Honestly, it’s worth staying here for that view alone. The location is unbeatable — central to all the bars, restaurants, and attractions, yet still peaceful and relaxing. Everything in Tropea is within easy walking distance, including the beach. A special mention to Simone, who greeted us on day one and looked after us throughout the stay. His service was impeccable — warm, professional, and genuinely thoughtful. If you’re visiting Tropea, this is the place to stay. Beautiful, convenient, and unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful hotel – both the location and the facilities are amazing. It offers the most breathtaking sea view in the whole town. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and will gladly recommend this hotel to our friends.

Amazing place with great views. Location amazing. Staff fabulous. Very accomodating. Just note that the hotel is located right at the end of the Main Street. If walking with bags a bit of a workout 😁

Perfect location. Our accommodation was luxurious with a balcony and views of the sea. The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were friendly efficient and gave us good recommendations for dinners. This would definitely be our first choice on our return to Tropea. It is a gem

Rooms slightly dark and parking (if you are carrying heavy luggage) too far away for walking. However, on the way back Simone, outstanding attitude, took our bags to the parking lot.

Absolutely fantastic stay at La Dolce Vita in Tropea! The hotel is modern, impeccably clean, and offers breathtaking views of the sea and a nearby monastery. Absolutely fantastic property in the best location! The staff, including Anna and Giuseppe, were so helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful, and you really can’t beat the view from the terrace - spectacular. Our room was spacious and modern, and included some really considerate items like a bag for the beach. We absolutely LOVED our stay here and hope to be back!

The only critic would be the bath towels could be nicer. Everything was so great that the thin towels stood out as a “room for improvement”

It was much smaller than what we thought, but that was not a problem

Location was Very good, the hotel provided parking space (paid) and booked us a taxi from the parking lot to the hotel (also paid), the room was comfortable although a little bit dark . The only problem was that when we were leaving we asked the manager to book a taxi for a specific time because we had a tight schedule , and even though he confirmed it he hadn’t booked the taxi , so we had to ask for a taxi and were delayed in half an hour. This delayed our tour and we almost had to pay a delay fee, so we were not so happy about it.

Very lovely hotel in a prime location. We used their contact for transport from the airport, and he was able to drive straight into the historical center to drop us off. The staff at check in were very helpful and quick. The balcony with the stunning view was just breathtaking, can't be beat. Room was nice, modern and clean. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning was amazing and had a lot of selection. We went to the beach club they recommended as it had an area reserved for their guests (30€ for 2 chairs and umbrella). Easy to walk to the center of Tropea and the beach area

Nothing was wrong with it at all. I would appreciate a cappuccino before 8am but they do have an espresso maker in each room, so not a big deal

The view is so spectacular it literally takes your breath away. You can enjoy and savour it on the terrace. Staff are wonderful and so thoughtful, setting a table for four of us by the view each morning for breakfast. Rooms are meticulously clean and crisp. Loved the terrazzo floors and modern styling.
