I didn't like the fact that bedding wasn't ironed. It looked a bit unfresh. So far, this has been the only place in Italy where it wasn't done. Also, the booking.com web says there is an iron, and there wasn't.

Everything ok

We had a wonderful stay in this charming, well designed top-floor apartment of a historic building in Catania. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome. Although the neighborhood shows signs of age (buildings and streets in this district), we felt safe and appreciated its authentic and comfortable character. The scent of Marseille soap in the stairwell added a warm, homely touch. The small terrace was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee (well equipped coffee machine as well as electric kettle are in the kitchen - both were important for us). The location is close to the center and fish market, with great restaurants and bars nearby that come alive in the evening. The air condition allows you to regulate the temperature so you can set temperature according to your preference. Apart from the usual sounds of life in a historic building (neighbours), the apartment was pleasantly quiet — we hardly heard any noise from the street. Big point for first aid kit. But the biggest advantage are Olga and Allessio as caring hosts 🙂

Guests should be aware that they will have to climb up stairs to reach the room since there is not elevator and might face small difficulties carrying up their luggage. However stairs are not dangerous or too steep.

Location in the city centrr very close to bars/restaurants and bus station, very polite and helpful hosts happy to answer to all questions, beautiful room with all amenities.

No parking. I had to leave my car about 12 minutes away, and the daily parking fee was 20euro which was a bit inconvenient.

The apartment was very, very clean, which made the stay comfortable and pleasant. The location was also a big advantage, as it was very close to the city center, making it easy to explore the area on foot.

We notice in every accomodation where we have traveled that there always seems to be is a shortage of hooks for all types of towels and ablution bags in the bathroom... so this is not a unique challenge to this lovely place

Central location near the busy night area with restaurants and bars but still in a quiet street, newly renowated and cosy. Perfect for a couple. The coffee machine was just a plus and the hosts were polite, welcoming and responsive to messages.

The stay at Dimora del Centro was the best decision for a one week trip in Catania as a couple. It was very close to the Fish Market, Via Etna and very good restaurants. Had a great time and felt like home with all the facilities of the apartment! Highly recommend it!

Olga greeted us for the keys and after that we kept in contact with Alessio and he helped a lot during our stay, with travel info and stuff to do. The location is 3min away from the city center, and very close to the fish market. The appartment is way better than expected. Everything was clean, new and great.

Very sweet and welcoming stay right in the centre of Catania. Not only is the location perfect for those who want to explore the city by foot but the apartment was extraordinarily clean and modern, in a very quiet house so you can get your rest and enjoy your vacation. A definite plus of this stay was the host (Alessio) who went out of his way to be helpful: he managed to find us a garage parking (very recommended if you don't want to risk having you car crushed, scratched or even stolen) and gave us a ton of suggestions for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. We loved our stay there!

We came to Catania for holidays. The apartment is perfect, very comfortable and really next to the center ! Next to the wonderful fish market of Catania. Alessio and Olga were great quests! Alessio gave us some great information about the places to eat and how to reach other cities like Taormina and Syracuse. He even gave us a ride from and to the airport. We highly recommend Alessios place to stay in Catania.
