Everything was alright.

The property was situated in the city centre, however it was surounded by other properties which sheltered it from noise coming from restaurants and pubs. All the facilities were in good condition and we enjoyed our stay. Roberto was a great host, he reached out to us and provided us with all the information needed and with a lot of helpful suggestions.

Our host Roberto & his wife were wonderful to deal with. Very helpful when questions were asked of them. Location of property & of easy access, very few stairs to climb & close to Porta Messina end of Taormina (5 minute walk). Was very close to the Main Street Corso Umberto. Facilities in the apartment were fantastic - kitchenette had everything we needed, included were coffee pods, basic condiments, detergents etc., washing machine, bathroom facilities. A nice surprise was a lovely bottle of red wine. Also were given beach towels to use - which was unexpected but very much appreciated. Would recommend this property to anyone - ideal for 2 people.

Everything was great

Wonderful place to stay in Taormina, with lots of space and everything you need. Perfectly located to explore everything on foot, the bus terminal and cable car are very close, and yet the apartment is quiet in a secluded area. The hosts are wonderful and very generous, and they go out of their way to make sure everything is good for you, and they provide excellent recommendations. There is also a combi washing machine and an espresso machine with lots of capsules. And needless to say, the town is stunning. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back again!

The property was in a perfect location right in the centre of Taormina. The host Roberto was very kind and easy to contact. The house was very clean, coffee and tea were provided as well as a bottle of wine as a gift from the host. I would highly recommend for 2 people to stay if you are visiting Taormina.

The location was so brilliant- it made exploring so easy, with so much to do and see on our doorstep. The beds were comfy, shower strong, nice and quiet and the AC worked very well. And Roberto was super helpful and attentive. Thank you!

This is a great little apartment, located in the historical centre of Taormina. Since it is also off the main streets, it is also very private. The accommodation is well provided for and includes a washing machine /dryer, iron as well as a functioning coffee machine plus coffee. Check in was easy, with Roberto waiting to greet us with a bottle of wine. He also gave us a briefing on what to do in Taormina as well as list of recommended shops and restaurants.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay and felt very comfortable throughout. The apartment is located in the heart of Taormina, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. It was clean, well-maintained, and had a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Roberto, the host, was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always available if we needed anything. His hospitality truly enhanced our experience. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in Taormina!

I like the whole house with all the facilities, clean room and I like very much the washing machine because I go to the sea every day, the hot sun makes a lot of sweat, the bedroom, bathroom, living room are divided into proportions, the owner is very kind and always smiling, I appreciate the stay in a quiet and private house.

The location is excellent, nice restaurants and bars around but the house itself is very quiet. The host thing about everything, showing in details. It's also extremely clean, good quality of bedding bed is also very comfortable. The host even prepared one bottle of wine and drinking water in thr fridge. Also a good coffee machine with generous amount of capsules. If you plan to visit taomina, don't miss this cosy wonderful place to stay:)

From the initial point of very convenient and seamless self check-in process this accommodation is advantageously well positioned and provided me with a wonderful stay to complement being in town for a mix of business and sightseeing. Despite being steps away from the main walking/touristic streets it is still tucked away in a quiet pocket and the accommodation itself features double glazed windows that greatly assist in reducing nighttime noise. The laneway remains well lit at nighttime and felt safe at all times. All amenities (bathroom, laundry, kitchen) were well appointed and accounted for, making a very convenient stay that contributed to the sense of living like a local. It is ideal for solo or couple stay. A beautiful evening cocktail setting (Timoleone) is literally steps away from the accommodation serving till late, making a wonderful close to any evening an available option at your doorstep. The historic Teatro Antico di Taormina is 270m walking distance. A must-visit dessert shop; Pasticceria Gelateria D'Amore, is 300m walking distance. The accommodation complements the main walking strip; Corso Umberto. The host Roberto was very responsive by direct message and kindly assisted me whenever needed. If you are travelling with a lot of heavy luggage, I recommend timing your arrival to very late evening or very early morning, whereby a taxi can be requested to drop you off / pick you up at the top of the stairs along Via Teatro Greco. Normally this is pedestrian only access with very limited special vehicle access. The balance of being tucked away in a quiet pocket is that it requires a few stair access steps (15-20) to get to the accommodation. I had minimal troubles and was travelling with 27kg suitcase plus handcarry luggage. Given the generous abundance of conveniences associated with the location I did not feel inconvenienced by this aspect. This stay exceeded my expectations and was well worth securing.

We really enjoyed our stay, the location is in a quiet street but literally around the corner from all the highlights. It is a small house with everything you need, including washing machine with laundry detergent and ironing board with flatiron. The host really paid attention to the little things like enough coffeecups, toiletpaper and soap and there was a bottle of wine and cookies waiting for us at arrival

I really enjoyed my stay at roberto's house. The apartment was lovely. And Alberto was very hospitable, it was my birthday and I was surprised with a gift of bottle wine, it was very warming and nice. Amazing host! recommended

Roberto welcomed us on arrival and gifted us a bottle of very nice wine. The apartment is perfectly located and thoughtfully decorated. It has undergone a recent renovation and was fully equipped for all our needs. We especially appreciated the washing machine and drying rack as we really needed to do a wash. The apartment is right in the centre of the old town with restaurants and sights a few minutes. We arrived by train and caught a taxi to the accomodation which was the easiest option. On leaving for Syracuse we caught the bus as the bus terminal is a 10 minute easy walk. All communication was timely and helpful. You will love both Taormina and Cassetta di Otto.

Roberto was so accommodating as we arrived very late in Taormina. He kept in regular contact with me which was very helpful and ensured it all went smoothly. The wine, water and biscuits were a lovely touch. We made 4 stops during our team in Italy and Roberto was the best host. 10/10- thank you Roberto Lovely room with a nice kitchenette. Modern bathroom. The property had AMAZING air conditioning. Ideal location, close to the action but not loud. Would recommended to anyone visiting Taormina

We had a fantastic time at Casetta di Otto. The location was perfect- super central but also private and quiet. The casetta was also fantastic and we can't fault anything- everything we needed was there and the place itself felt like a hotel. Roberto and his wife were incredibly helpful and we loved all of their recommendations. Highly recommend La Casetta di Otto for couples visiting Taormina! Grazie Roberto!
