How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The English version of the oven instructions couldn't be found but we found a YouTube clip that we could follow. There is some noise overnight but ear plugs meant we were able to sleep.
Everything was excellent but the mattress was a little soft for our liking. The apartment is even more spacious than the photos suggest. The kitchen had absolutely everything one could need. Good location and parking was easily sorted. Giuseppe was easy to contact and provided detailed information about the apartment facilities as well as nearby restaurants and cafes.

We liked everything about our stay. The location was perfect. Convenient to everything around. The apartment was spacious and clean. Bathroom was great size and the whole unit was very comfortable. Giuseppe was very pleasant and helpful. We highly recommend staying here.

The gas boiler (heating) turns on and off itself too often and it's a bit noisy, especially at night.
Well-equipped, cozy and clean, perfectly located apartment. Giuseppe is a super friendly and helpful host. He even prepared a full manual for the apartment in 2 languages, it contained everything we needed to know, even recommended restaurants and other points of interest.

Our stay was really enjoyable. Giuseppe picked us up from the airport and also drove us on the day of departure. The apartment was even better in person than in the pictures. The equipment and furnishings were of very high quality. A pleasant surprise was the bakery cookies, juices in the fridge, jams for the crackers, coffee, and many other thoughtful touches. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding. Additionally, the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Thank you very much, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Giuseppe is a wonderful host. He picked us up from the airport and drove us to the airport. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need. The apartment is very clean and the furniture is new, the apartment looks much better in reality than in the pictures.It is close to the center and close to the train station. The apartment is quiet and the neighborhood is safe, there is a bakery downstairs and a regional store nearby. This is the best apartment we have ever stayed in, and we travel quite a bit. Returning to Calabria we will definitely go back there.

There is nothing we didn’t like.
Giuseppe is a wonderful host. He welcomed us with a tour and provided all kinds of information and restaurant recommendations. His apartment is beautiful, upgraded, clean and has absolutely everything you need for a very comfortable stay. We loved the apartment and the city- the location is perfect. A quiet street, very close to the train station, waterfront, popular sites, restaurants and grocery stores. We would definitely return.

We liked everything.
The apartment has everything you need and more. Giuseppe is really nice and did all he could to make our stay a pleasant experience. He provided great information and communicated quickly. The apartment is large and beautiful.

We had such a wonderful stay in La Casa di Nausicaa, both the apartment and the host were way beyond our expectations. The apartment had EVERYTHING you’d need in an everyday life, from washing machine, going through all kinds of kitchen accessories, seasoning, spices and also a dish washer. Location is also a BIG thumbs up for this property, we were only 10min away (walk) from all kinds of groceries, shops, restaurants and even public transportation, simply outstanding!! The host had even prepared some basic items for our arrival (water, soda, some snacks, basic bath stuff, etc) - we did not see this one coming. I was also working during our time there and the internet connection was pretty decent and stable, I was able to do all my meetings with no hassle. We’ll definitely book it again when we come to Reggio

Our sleep was disrupted in the very early hours of every morning - possibly due to the business(es) operating on the ground floor nearby. We struggled to find any open restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the property.
Guiseppe was a charming, responsive & thoughtful host. He collected us from the train station upon arrival & dropped us at the ferry terminal upon departure which was very helpful. The apartment is spacious & newly renovated with all mod cons. It was stocked with some welcome gifts which was a nice touch. There were a number of recommendations from our host. We were very comfortable here.
