If I could, I would rate it 20/10 The apartment exceeded all our expectations, from the location itself, which is a few steps from the center, to the equipment, aesthetics and cleanliness of the apartment. The host Lorenzon is the cherry on top of the cake, ready with all the recommendations and instructions needed for Catania.

The bed weren't the best. we all rolled into the middle. I think the bed bases were the best. Both room experienced the same issue with the beds

Once we were inside it was great. From the outside you wouldn't expect it. We were only there 1 night bit it was close to loads of restaurants and bars (within a 7-8min walk)

The host was very kind. She tells us everything about the apartment - advise where to park the car. The apartment is just 100meters from the street full of restaurants and bars. The Duomo is maybe around 200-300meters straight on the street. The rooms are very big, you have a fully equipped kitchen and everything was new and clean!

Great location, walking distance to restaurants, city highlights, the lady that met us for the check in, was very kind and helpfull. We did enjoy our stay at this location and we can recommend it to all. Everything was clean (shower needs some attention but nothing major).

The parking was difficult. Garages were recommended, but unfortunately were not open the morning we needed to leave (Sunday). Finding street parking on Saturday night was tricky.

The bathroom is a little small.

Lovely clean, modern apartment with large rooms and comfortable beds. Good kitchen and small outdoor courtyard area (though this is tiny and open to the other apartments above). It is in a good location, right in the middle of town, about 5-10 mins walk to the main square. Excellent restaurant in the next street along. Lorenzo was very responsive and helpful. Although it is next to a main road, the soundproofing is good and there is little to no noise from the street. I'm a very light sleeper and had no problem.

The wi-fi was a bit weak. Three of us were there co-working and it was a little difficult since the wifi speed was slow. It worked for normal internet browsing, but wasn’t enough for all work applications.

The location was incredible - easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go in Catania. The apartment was beautifully decorated and made for a very comfortable stay. It was so nice to have bottled water, coffee and tea provided.

Amazing apartment, everything was perfect! We did one week road trip in Sicily at the beginning of February and this was the only place in which we didn't freeze. The rooms are very big and beautifully designed, the beds are very comfy, the kitchen is well equipped, there were even pads and sewing kit at the toilet. We parked near the entrance (payed parking), and the apartment is in the touristic center - everything is at a walking distance. The owners are very kind and responsible at the messages. We were very happy with the choice we did, booking this apartment. The only thing we've wished more was we could stay longer.

The only downsides were a shower room that needs updating, (showing signs of its age it was difficult to keep clean) and a Fire stick screening device for the TV that did not work. Nevertheless we would stay here again and firmly recommend the apartment to others.

This was an elegant and beautifully located, if a little expensive, two double-bedroom apartment. Both bedrooms had balconies overlooking the Via Vittorio Emanuel in the centre of Catania close to the Duomo and across the road from the famous Roman theatre. The location probably justified the expense. All the major sites as well as the hustle and bustle of the daily markets were well within easy walking distance. The host, Lorenzo, was exremely helpful and very quick to respond to all communications.

The biggest issue we had with this property was the stench of sewerage from the bathroom We did let the host know, but he could not smell it when he checked it. He did get a plumber to check it out. Unfortunately what they did did not lead to a lasting resolution and it was back within 12 hours. By the end, the smell was so bad it made me want to retch. We were happy to leave the property as we were so uncomfortable and went out of way to spend as little time as possible there. The property is located quite close to the city centre. It is a dirty section full of graffiti compared to the city centre. I would have enjoyed Catania better not experiencing that aspect of it. Other issues like the towels being very old and bare (they did make effort to pretty them up by wrapping them in a ribbon which did demonstrate a welcoming effort) and sheer curtains which allowed light into the bedroom at night - were not as critical given you get you pay for. I would have budgeted more if I had known it was quite basic. The property has excellent reviews and ratings so I do think it can fulfil a void for many travellers. In retrospect it wasn’t for me. I could have afforded to pay more. I believe the host was doing their best. It is the smell that has compelled me to respond to the invitation to write a review.

The host kept in contact us prior to our arrival and had us greeted and welcomed on arrival. He made himself available to contact via WhatsApp We had an issue with the bathroom and he seemed sincere in trying to get this addressed and calling a plumber

On the 1st day when we arrived we spent nearly 30mins to locate the apartment entry point. Thank God it was free parking on Sunday, otherwise cars can't wait outside. As there are no lifts, have to carry heavy luggage up one floor .

The host was extremely friendly. The apartment looked perfect from inside. Just that the neighborhood looked not so clean. The host made special trip to advise us how the washing machine works . Please note that this apartment is at Catania old town....modern shopping districts is walking distance from here.
