Everything was perfect and we had no problems. I'd say that if you have mobility issues (wheelchair etc) then you will find access difficult, as it's fairly steep access to the apartments from the road, and from the resort itself.

This apartment was perfect for us. It was a great size, the air con was perfect, the bed was comfy, and yeah it was just lovely. We sat around the pool a few times and that was also great - thanks to Islam who was serving refreshments at the poolside bar. There is a railway line quite close to the apartment, so you'll hear occasional trains, but it's actually pretty quiet and you're out of the way of the bustle of the resort, while also being no more than 5 minutes walk from a restaurant. It also fairly easy to walk to Taormina from the apartment (approx 1 hour). Beautiful views of the sea. Thoroughly recommended.

The location is prime, walking distance to all the restaurants, cafes, beach and boardwalk. Also short distance to the interbus to travel to Taormina centro. Perfect!

It’s noisy, it’s not very sound proof. You can hear your neighbours talking all yet time. And bed was not very comfortable, but would still recommend staying there.

Location was amazing, parking and a pool you can’t get any better than that.

Balcony was pretty small. Would have loved the apartment below with the big balcony’s (we got the last apartment when booking so had no choice). No kettle for tea but it’s Italy so wasn’t surprised. Table was a bit small for 4 people.

Cleaners came in every day so it was spotless. Changed towels every 3. A few minutes to the beach and restaurants (through a tunnel under the train tracks which my children loved). Lovely size apartment for 2 adults and 2 children. Staff were very helpful when booking taxi’s.

One day before check in the stuff sent detailed information about necessary codes and self check in. My few extra requests were met without any extra charge. Cool wine with a greeting note waited for us upon arrival. Very clean - cleaning ladies cleaned the apartment every day. Extra bonus was the privat pool and pool bar with a friendly and attentive bartender. We had apartment B1 with a fabulous terrace and sea view. The apartment had an additional veranda on the other side of the building with a dining table and stools. The residence is well maintained. The railway in front of the house did not prevent convenient access to the beach, as there was a tunnel under the railway. The beach and cafes are very close. The private parking is also bonus. We had a rented car but local city buses are also very convenient to use for visiting Taormina where parking a car may be issue due to busy traffic. We spent a lovely week with our family at Villa Don Antonio and would come again.

Only drawback was the very busy road just across the railway line.

5 Stars – Absolute Perfection by the Sea! 🌊🍕 We had the most amazing stay at IG Villa Antonio Apartments in Giardini Naxos! The apartment felt brand new—modern, beautifully renovated, and absolutely spotless. We stayed in the studio Seaview apartment, and the view was breathtaking—overlooking the sparkling ocean with a postcard-perfect glimpse of Taormina in the near distance. The pool area was fabulous, with bar service available and plenty of spots to relax. We especially appreciated the free secure parking, a real bonus in this area. Inside the apartment, the air-conditioning was super effective (a must in Sicilian summer!), and we were welcomed with complimentary Prosecco, coffee capsules with a machine, and daily croissants, toast, and jam—such thoughtful touches. Evenings were magical, dining along the beachfront just steps away. And the best pizza we had in Sicily was literally across the road—so convenient and delicious! Taormina is just a 10-minute drive—we recommend going early (around 9 AM) and parking in the Porta Catania car park for only €12 for 3 hours. Easy and stress-free! We honestly didn’t want to leave. Everything was just perfect. We’re already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend IG Villa Antonio—an unforgettable stay!

Its a bit noisy but like every other places in Giardini Naxos, as the too many cars on the roads to Taormina. We got used to it. According to our booking there should have been a sofabed but here was none just a small seating.

Close to the lido/beach, good pool and little bar. We had a good view as well from our apt. Bed was comfy. Kitchen was very basic.

Our experience here was absolutely amazing! The apartments are spotlessly clean, modern, and fully equipped with everything you need. It felt both luxurious and comfortable. The private pool is a major highlight, especially if you want to skip the crowded public beaches. Since the complex is shared with only 2 or 3 other apartments, the pool was almost always empty, which made it feel even more exclusive. There’s a great bar on-site open from morning until evening, offering reasonably priced drinks. The bartender was incredibly friendly and even treated us to free coffee every morning, which was such a nice touch. The pool was always crystal clear, and we were lucky to have perfect weather throughout our stay. Location-wise, it’s ideal. Just a 1-minute walk across the train tracks via a small underground tunnel and you’re at the beach, restaurants, and shops. There’s also a pizza place just 20 meters away that delivers or allows pickup. We loved enjoying fresh pizza on our balcony. There are plenty of beaches around, both free and paid, along with restaurants and stores to explore. If you’re up for a bit of adventure, there’s a scenic 40-minute hike to Taormina town which offers stunning views as you ascend the mountain trail. A special mention to the owner, who kindly let us stay by the pool and use the changing room until the evening after checkout when we realized our flight was later in the evening. That extra bit of hospitality really stood out. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back soon!

The bed made a very loud noise from the boards when getting out of bed - disturbing for partner. Sadly the bar at the pool had not opened for the season for our stay (the pool was clean and well heated tho). Soundproofing between apartments is not great

The apartment was clean and bright with plenty of space. The bathroom was excellent - the standard of a four star hotel. The lighting throughout was very well designed. There was good quality furniture including dining and patio sets. The staff were very pleasant and the owner drove us to the station very early in the morning when we left. The pool area had lots of sun beds, umbrellas and tables and chairs and was very clean and well kept. Although the railway line and road run at the front of the property we were not disturbed as the bedroom at the back was very quiet.

Giardini Naxos is not really fancy. The lungomare is dominated by noisy cars and motor bikes, quite seventies.

Modern and quite luxurious appartment building in an ordinary street with easy short cut to the beaches. Daily cleaning and fill up of the (simple) breakfast basket. Great pool area with even a pool bar. Free parking

Nothing we didn't like, but I did accidentally break a glass on my last night and had nothing to sweep it up with and an iron would be helpful. 😊

The location was amazing and the apartment we stayed at, was great. We had a balcony with a great view, the pool speaks for itself and the rooms got cleaned everyday, which was a massive plus. We would definitely stay here again next time. Can't leave it without mentioning the host and the staff, everyone was super helpful and the host was fast to reply.

Private pool and also beach nearby is great combination. Also, free private parking is available. Train tracks are nearby, but that was not a problem as we did not noticed those from room. Windows were on train tracks side and only time we heard or noticed those were when balcony was wide open and child was waiting for some.

Confusion around the number of beds in the apartment - published number on booking.com was 3 but in reality there are only two beds (queen size and a sofa bed). We received an apology and a discount from the owner.

Very nice apartment and facilities. Good communication during our stay. Location is very practical for reaching both Giardini Naxos and Taormina (short bus - taxi ride).

We had an absolutely great stay at Don Antonio’s -our time there exceeded our expectations. We were a family of eighth -staying for more than a week, in three separate large rooms. From start till end we was well taken care of, the rooms were perfectly clean and comfortable and the hospitality great (great coffee, cleaning everyday and small croissants and cakes). The children loved the swimming pool and the adults just enjoyed the nice location and atmosphere. Just across the road you’ll find many restaurants, bakeries and grocery shopping-and plenty of small and larger beaches. We walked up to Taormina og Castelmola a couple of times, quite a steep climb for smaller children but still nice (however be aware of lots of traffic and missing pedestrians many places). All together great stay for everyone -we would definitely come back!

Friendly and professional staff which is always helpful. Good Whatsup contact. “Villa Don Antonio” its a cluster of well equipped nice looking new build. Private secure access parking makes it more save to store a hired car. Nice views from balcony is another attractive addition to already pleasant place. Close proximity of good restaurants and coffee shops scattered along nearby promenade. I would recommend it to anybody who wants to visit Taormina with all it’s attractions or just want to have a nice stay. Highly recommended. Thank you.
