Caia Apartment is perfectly located in a less crowded and more quiet part of Tropea. We did not have any issue to walk to the beach and always founds a place on the beach. Apartment itself is very spacious, large bedrooms and bathroom, air conditioning in every room. Very clean, comfortable beds. What was a positive surprise, that bed linen and towels were changed in the middle of our stay! Giuseppe is a very good host: he is taking care about you and always available!

We spend 6 months of the year in Italy, in various booking.com and Airbnb apartments and this is without a doubt our favourite. The apartment was perfect in every way. The location is superb, the balcony overlooking the sea is very special. It was spotlessly clean, the shower was great with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The Wi-Fi was excellent and the bed was so comfortable. We hope to return to Tropea but we would have to stay in this apartment as nothing would come close to being as good! We were given fresh fruit, water and coffee. Giuseppe was the perfect host. He even went the extra mile and picked us up and dropped us off at the train station! Outstanding hospitality. I cannot recommend this apartment enough!

Maybe trim the olive(?) tree so that you can get a better view.We were there in winter so you spend most of the time indoors when not out and it forms a significant obstruction to the northern sea view.

A very comfortable well appointed apartment that provides excellent value.Distance to Centro, supermarkets etc.all acceptable.Everything is well maintained and most kitchen implements are available.Quiet neighbourhood and parking right out front.

The sofa was a little uncomfortable if you sat for a long time and maybe a little small if you were there as a family or a small group, could use a little more comfortable indoor seating. There were no channels in other languages on the tv. Not that I was in the room that much but still would have been nice in the evening to be able to watch a movie or some type of program. So basically I just listened to music since I couldn't figure out a way to cast anything from my phone to the TV. The location was a little far from town for me as a solo female traveler... took about a 20 minute walk to get to the main part of town and then another 5 to 10 minutes if you wanted to go to the marina or the larger more popular beaches... but it did say that it was a bit of a walk in the description .. I just didn't think it would be quite that far, so I felt was a bit far for me at night..I felt perfectly safe.. but would have been nicer being closer to town to be able to enjoy things in town a little later into the evening without having to worry about the long walk back in the dark. Luckily there was a grocery store close by so I would just buy food and prepare some of my own meals. The beach you see below your balcony is not the beach you go to .. you have to walk about 10 minutes and it's a very small Beach so I ended up walking to the larger and more popular beaches. There are a lot of stairs no matter where you are to get to any of the beaches so I felt that the description of being only 400 ft away from the beach was a little misleading😵‍💫

The apartment was very spacious and clean. There is a TV in each bedroom as well as the living space. There is a microwave , a refrigerator with a small freezer , a 4 burner gas cooktop. pots and pans and other cooking supplies . Dishes for 4 to 6 people as well as a table with 4 chairs. The owner has a big bowl of fruit waiting for you upon your arrival as well as some water in the fridge The decor was very clean and crisp and updated to Modern standards. The bathroom was very spacious compared to most places in Italy . The balcony was lovely with Ocean View and included a small table and two chairs. It was wonderful hearing the ocean day and night . There are brooms and cleaning supplies available in closet as well as a very good size drying rack. The owner was very friendly and even drove me to the train station after I checked out🤩

Unrelated to the apartment: the lack of public beaches in Tropea, if you are not willing to pay for umbrella and sunbeds you have to squeeze in to few meters of sand between private beaches. Also the waste collection in Tropea is strange.

The apartment was brand new, perfectly clean, with air conditioning (which in August was very helpful) and well equipped. Everything worked perfectly. The host, Guiseppe, was really nice, responding immediately on WhatsApp to any question and helped us a lot. The view on the sea from the balcony was amazing. Also everything is in walking distance: beaches, laundry, supermarkets, restaurants.

Guiseppe is an excellent host. He went out of his way to help us. The apartment is impressive, beautifully laid out & very clean. The views over the Mediterranean are also impressive & you can spend many hours relaxing in the apartment, wandering the streets of beautiful Tropea or swimming at excellent beaches.

Giuseppe the host is very nice and helpful. Apartment was clean, comfortable and with sea view. We enjoyed our stay in Tropea. Easy Walking distance to beach and historic part of Tropea. I recommend this appartement, top. Parking is possible outside on the road.

Amazing apartments with perfect view from balcony. Equiped with everything you need. Our host Giuseppe welcomed us with fruits and cold water and was helpful with all the info we needed. Towels were changed 3 days into our stay. Sea is 7 min away by foot. You need water shoes to walk comfortably along the shore. Town center is 5 min away by foot.

If you want to reach the beach on foot, it's definitely not as close as stated on the booking, but it's still close enough.

Great location - close to the city, and to the sea, yet the area is very quiet, perfect for a vacation stay. Anything you need is within a 5 min walk - supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, restaurants, cafés... There is free parking right in front of the building, it's not PRIVATE private, but the street is not busy, and we could see the car from the balcony, so it felt really safe. The apartment was well equipped, SUPER clean, comfortable... and lastly, Giuseppe (our host) was really kind, helpful, always quick to reply if we needed anything! I loved that he greeted us with fresh fruit.

My week at Caia Apartamenti in Tropea was a fantastic experience. If you’re looking for comfort, peace, and proximity to one of the most beautiful beaches in Calabria, this place is perfect. The apartments are ideally located just a short walk from Tropea’s center and beaches. The area offers plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. The apartment was spacious, modern, and well-equipped, with a comfortable living area, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, and a balcony with a sea view. Cleanliness was excellent. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided valuable tips and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The beach is only a few minutes' walk away, with clear turquoise water and plenty of space to relax. Nearby bars offer local snacks and drinks. Caia Apartamenti Tropea is an ideal base for exploring Tropea and Calabria. Comfortable, well-located, and with great service, it’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!
